I wanted to leave a quick review on the Pentora 125 ATV for anyone in the market to purchase one of these machines.

Bought my 5 year old one for Christmas off a guy for $1200 only ridden like twice. My only complaint is it vibrates like crazy upon acceleration about half way through the rpm range at about 15-20 mph. Once you get past that it's not so bad, I'm still trying to remedy the vibration to this day. I will say this though, everything factory intact mine gps'd at 28, nibbi carb now it runs 35, way faster than a kid needs.

Link for exact carb? You just changed the carb and boom ???

And the vibration. And remedies yet. Because my sons vibrates at the same point but doesn’t stop. Only gets worst with more speed. Or if you rev it in neutral. Crazy vibrations. I don’t see how he rides it as long as he does with the feet hands and butt vibrating so.

@@ricobetrippin1114 It won't let me post the link but on Amazon it's the nibbi PE19FL the red and black one. I had to go to Lowe's and buy 2 large washers that served as spacers to make the carb fit without hitting anything because I didn't order the aftermarket intake manifold pipe like I should have. Also, I failed to mention that I purchased an aftermarket cdi box that goes under the seat, that removes the rev limiter. However, it made it run like crap (backfired and rattled more often and worse) so I reinstalled the factory one. 36 mph is too fast for this quad without wheel spacers anyways, it was all over road uncontrollable and was squirrely to say the least.

@@ricobetrippin1114The only remedy for vibration I've found that worked was replacing the clutch assembly, $30 then another $7 for the removal tool. Also, there are 4 bolt holes on the bottom of the motor where it sets on the frame. None of mine had bolts, so I purchased 4 from Lowe's and installed them with plastic spacers hoping to limit vibration. However, all 4 vibrated completely out within 3 rides. So back to Lowes again to get 4 more and gorilla super glue and no plastic spacers this time. I coated all 4 bolt threads with super glue tightened them with an impact and let it set an hour or so and I'd say that cut down on vibration at least 50% the clutch about 10% to 15%. I haven't put foam grips on yet cause my son rides with gloves and doesn't complain but that is my next step. Even me with no gloves and all that done its tolerable now for more than an hour of riding.

I would say the same. It vibrates, but I have not had any thoughts on upgrading the suspension yet. I believe I get more interested in upgrading it than I need to, because it’s for my kid. We have two and they are the same, but run and ride great other than the vibration.

Can we get an update and maybe a video of someone riding it?

Apologies for the late reply. This video is old, but the ATV is still in great shape. No issues besides a battery and trickle charger install.

You said you greased it up before you used it. I’m new to one of these so what exactly did you do? Is there a video of what you did? Thank you for your review

The part that holds this 4 wheeler back. Like most chinese fourwheelers is rudamentary suspension. I noticed that the 250 pentora has nitrogen reservoir bottles. I dont know if they are for looks or legit. I have a can am ds90x and a 150 chinese knock off and the can ams suspension is super plush just like a 450 race model. Minus rebound or compression adjustments. But it does have preload rings. Im thinking about getting 2 of these pentora 125s for my kids. But im curious as to the shift lever. Why does it have a pedal on the backend ???
@jslay8319 Жыл бұрын
It's so you can shift it into drive or reverse by just stomping down on it. I personally prefer to put my foot under the front one and lift up for drive like I was used to growing up. But my 5 year old just stomps on top of the back one for drive and stomps on the front one for reverse. It's actually very handy for young kids who don't have the leg strength yet.
