Absolutely nostalgic. The Penumbra series (Overture, Black Plague, and Requiem) introduced me to the genre of horror games, and I would go on to play many more horror games after this series. However, the Penumbra Trilogy still remains close to my heart. It's a shame that not a lot of people know about these games, and the whole series is criminally underrated in my opinion. Frictional Games made a masterpiece when they created this series, and all the games that they make are iconic. If you haven't played horror games made by Frictional Games, you're missing out.

We played the original physics demo "Penumbra" with friends when it was released in 2006. I remember it being something we had never seen before in gaming. When the Penumbra: Overture was released I instantly bought it, as I am a fan of horror games. After finishing the game, I knew two more games were planned for the story, but somehow I remember that there were problems in the development team which caused them to delay the schedule slightly and finally they released only one game, Penumbra: Black Plague.

@kojinmalia Nostalgia is about remembering, though. Sometimes, when you think about the past you feel like it was a better time. It's about playing the game again in maybe 15-20 years and feeling warm inside or something like that. If I played a game that I enjoyed and had fond memories of, I wouldn't want to just forget about it so I could do it all over again.
