I live in Australia, my family and I went on a holiday over the break and we went to a place called Hamilton island, from there we went on a day trip to another island called Whitehaven beach. Australia’s airforce recently bought a bunch of new jets from America, and there was one of Australia’s biggest airbases near us. Anyway me and my fam were just chilling, and then out of nowhere a jet flies by, first you see it, then you here the deafening sound of the plane. It circled us for a before flying off, and I guess as a good bye it sent of a flare into the ocean :) I don’t know why it flew overhead, but I’m definitely happy it did, coolest thing I’ve ever seen.

I cry at night because my mild color blindness and asthma as a child means I can’t be a fighter pilot... I’m incredibly good at the maths and the rest of it, always scoring incredibly high but the other physical features rule me out. I had asthma as a child but no longer have it, and colorblindness of green and red, mild, but not diagnosed, rules me out from even applying as I know I’d get rejected down the road

Liqrit Rs sorry to hear man, I’ve got slight defects in sight too. Mine isn’t instant rejection but it makes it 1000x harder to get in, I know what you mean. However don’t let it stop you flying, fly general aviation, light aircraft stunt planes, airlines will take you. Laser eye surgery could help. There’s always a way to fly, even if it’s not your first choice. Find a way my friend.
