You are very right bringing this up! Living in a town and being employed, I am not there at all. The best way getting into this would be an internship at a homestead like yours for getting on the right track. It is happening easily being tired after work and not getting these things done...😢

Thanks. I know there are some small farms that do internships. They don't do all homesteading things but they certainly prepare you for growing food, etc. Homesteading conferences are great too. There are a lot of classes on practical knowledge there. You will get there. Just do not give up in your mind and always have the goal. God will provide an opportunity.

I find myself looking at people like Eric and in amazement, I find myself in the same boat. I married a Filipina with the same faith. She trusts me. When God speaks and says leave and find a safe place, she was on board. We left, cashed out and bought a little log home. Walked away from 6 figures, invested in ourselves with solar, rainwater harvesting. Spend less than 400.00 a year on grocery items. Share with our neighbors. Garden, raise animals and know without a doubt that we are doing exactly what we need to do. When laid off, we don't accept fingerprinting, facial mapping, retna scanning in order to recieve benefits we already paid for with a ssn card and DL. We see whats coming, and we support each other. There is only one savior. His name isn't on the poles. Stay strong! Be independent.

My biggest hangup on this topic is how do you pay for property taxes if you no longer have a full time job since you are homesteading? I can't see how one homesteads but then works a corporste job from 8-5, M-F. I love hard, physical labor (I actually can't stand sitting behind a desk all day) but have no idea how to afford to pay taxes without the 8-5 job.

You will have to find other means of income. Side-hustles. Ideally they will come from your homestead as that is part of the definition of homesteading. Also, I lowered my taxes this year with some agricultural exemptions.

I totally agree with what you have to say in this video about homesteading and government. However, saying that "a loving God" wouldn't send people to hell forever is absolutely not true and is contrary to the Bible. A holy and just God has placed laws in place for our benefit, and the very clear consequence of sinning against Him is eternal damnation. To take any other stance on that is not only contradictory to the Bible, it MOST importantly belittles the all loving, all important sacrifice that God made when sacrificing his only son Jesus so that we could be saved from our sins. There could be no act more loving than that, and that is exactly what our God who is loving, holy, and just has done for us. Believing that our sins don't condemn us eternally means that there is another way to be saved other than accepting Jesus as our savior, which also directly contradicts the Bible and the words of Jesus. That view point would mean that Jesus dying on the cross was unnecessary, and destroys the importance of the Gospel message itself. While critical thinking is absolutely important when studying the Bible, we are to align ourselves to the Bible, not align the Bible to ourselves and our feelings. I pray you'll re-evaluate your stance on this. God Bless.

Praise God we have the opportunity to talk about this. Isaiah 1:18 says: Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord… I think you maybe misunderstood what I was saying while additionally accusing me of saying things I did not say. I in no way downplayed the amazingly loving sacrifice of our Lord Jesus for our sins. This is the greatest act of love that has ever existed emanating from God the Father and God the Son. I never said our sins don’t eternally condemn us…they do, and unless they are covered by the blood of the Lamb, we will perish. The only way is to believe in Jesus Christ, repent from your sins, and follow the commandments of God as He commanded (John 14:15). Let me clarify what I meant. A loving God will not burn continuously forever a person whom he loves for a short life of sin in the span of eternity. The Bible teaches the punishment of the wicked is death and that death is everlasting, meaning permanent. The Bible teaches that the wicked will be thrown into the lake of fire and are burned up. The result lasts forever not the punishment itself. There is no continual punishing. That would be un-loving. Mercy from God is that you will cease to exist as if you never were. You will be ash (Malachi 4:3). The wicked will be eternally separated from God. Sin will be burned up and eradicated because it cannot continue to exist either. I do not work off of feeling, I work off of the Word of God only. Sola Scriptura. Have a blessed evening. Please continue to study God’s Word.

Even if other Christians did not believe in your view of sinners not being burned forever for eternity, it’s a small matter to be separated on, so I pray that those who follow Christ do not use this opportunity to have division in their heart.

@@CountryLivingExperience Ah sorry for misunderstanding you. I assumed incorrectly that you saying those sent to hell wouldn't burn forever meant you thought they would get out somehow. God is Loving yes absolutely, and perfectly. God is also Just absolutely and perfectly. God is also Holy absolutely and Eternally. If you punch me me in the face ill be mad, if you punch a cop you go to jail, if you punch the president you might get shot. But what if you sin even once against a holy and eternal God, has he been temporarily offended, or is the offense eternal? the punishment should fit the crime all things being Just, and since belief in Jesus being the only way for sins to be forgiven, those who dont believe will have to suffer the consequences of their sin on their own. I Fear your view of God's majesty and glory may be too small when considering who your sinning against the punishment definitely fits the crime. Either way this is not a first tier issue so long as your motivation to share the gospel isn't lacking. I never comment but I appreciate you and your content and willingness to share your faith. Just keep the gospel central and be blessed brother.

Praise the Lord we have an opportunity to talk about this. "Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord.." Maybe you misunderstood what I said. Belief in Jesus is the only way for sins to be forgiven and there is certainly punishment for sins that are not repented of. The punishment for turning your back on Christ and not accepting His sacrifice (and in turn He says "if you love me, keep My commandments") is death or eternal separation from God. God's glory and mercy are great. What I meant was that a loving God will not burn continuously forever a person whom he loves for a short life of sin. several places in the Bible use the words "for ever". In Revelation 14:11, "And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." The result of punishment for sin is forever, not the punishment itself. In Malachi 4:3 it states "And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts." Which is a prophecy of the end of days. The wicked are ashes...they are no more....burned up. Just as Sodom and Gomorrah were burned up but are not burning today.

Let us talk Land Patent vs Warranty Deed. Check your Warranty Deed, it will show you listed as a tenant. This is a result of entering into contract with the COUNTY thereby granting them permission to lord their will over yours. So, through ignorance they trick you into signing a warranty deed. However, the Land Patent is a land treaty with the United States Of America (The Republic) and corporate governments can not interfere with or change the terms of any private contract. When you acquire your Land Patent you take possession of the Allodial title and nullify the warranty deed. Know this, a Land Patent is to your Heirs and Assigns forever and permits can not be required. It takes 60 days plus 1 to record your Land Patent with the county. Do a search for “What you need to know about... Land Patents” by Ron Gibson. U.S. Land Patents are the SUPREME LAW of the LAND per the Constitution for the United States of America: Article VI (2) and Article IV section 3 (2).

Do you own land "free & clear" (no mortgage)? Yes. We own our current land and will again pay 21 dollars silver and other valuable considerations for our next land purchase. We do not use a dead financial instrument (mortgage) to acquire land. Did you file for allodial title? No. One does not file for a title, we the people prepare the necessary paperwork proving our constitutional right to possess the Land Patent. It is then posted in a public space, like a Library, Township or city hall, county building, you get the point. Your constitutional right to the Land Patent is displayed for 60 days plus 1 and if no one has challenged your position you take the original compiled documents to the county recorders office and tell them to record your Land Patent documents. The act of filing and/or registering is seeking your servants permission, whereas recording is from a positions of your constitutional authority. After recording your documents you then and only then possess the allodial title to your land. Furthermore, this nullifies the warranty deed placed on your land by the county. For those who want to be free, having the land patent is a prerequisite. This is outlined in Ron Gibson’s book.

The constitution for the united states of America requires all money to be minted and made of silver and gold. buying land with pre 1964 silver dollars prevents the corporate governments from participating in the sale and purchase of the land you are buying. With the additional comment "and other valuable considerations" is another way of saying the balance will be paid using fiat currency (federal reserve notes). By not mentioning the amount paid with unconstitutional money, the Land is treated differently when purchased through the republic. Look, this is a very big topic and requires a whole lot of research. The comment section of a video is not the venue to educate someone to what is and is not constitutional. I only mention it to spark a desire to learn the truth that has been kept from we the people. Perform a search with the rectangle of knowledge for videos by Ron Gibson and include Land patent with his name. Should be very entertaining.

KJV 2Timothy 3:7 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. Yes a loving God would do that. He is a just God and righteous he gives people the opportunity to accept his son Jesus sacrifice for our sins. Do not take that lightly he was innocent and suffered and died for us if you reject that your punishment is forever. It’s in the word. Burning in a lake of fire is death not eternal life. Life is only through Christ. Do you even believe the Bible?
@CountryLivingExperience
@CountryLivingExperience 5 ай бұрын
I study the Bible constantly and love my Lord Jesus. Absolutely Jesus suffered and died for our sins and to partake in that justification we must believe in Him and obey His commandments. His sacrifice was the ultimate act of love by the Father and Son. "Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord.." Maybe you misunderstood what I said. A loving God would not burn continuously forever a person whom he loves for a short life of sin. The Bible teaches the punishment of the wicked is death and that death is everlasting, meaning permanent. The result lasts forever not the punishment itself. You will cease to exist as if you never were. You will be ash (Malachi 4:3). The wicked will be eternally separated from God. If you are in the lake of fire burning and feeling that pain you would be conscious and alive....not dead. Similarly, satan is also in the lake of fire and eventually burned up to never exist again. If he was still there burning for eternity, he would be alive eternally.....that is not Biblical. In Jude 7 it says that Sodom and Gomorrah were burned with everlasting or eternal fire. Are they burning today? No. The result of their destruction was eternal. They will never be rebuilt. God's Word tells us that “the wages of sin is” not eternal life in hellfire, but “death” (Romans 6:23) or eternal separation from God. The result of our punishment is eternal. It will never be reversed. But the not be continuously punished brother.

At 8:21 'Additionally, if people were burning in hell forever, WHERE SATAN RULED'. Where did you get that notion? That Satan rules over hell. Nope. Hell was created FOR the devil and his demons as damnation. Satan does not rule over it. In fact, Jesus defeated him and Jesus is the Major of hell. Oh yes. Revelation 1:18, Jesus Christ possesses the keys of Death and Hades. This phrase signifies His authority over the realm of the dead, including both the righteous and the wicked. The keys represent Christ's power and complete dominion. Otherwise enjoyed all your other advice.

Praise God that you want to have a conversation about the Word of God. I think you may have misunderstood me or I didn't say it as succinctly as I needed to. What I am saying is that hell is not eternal, the results of the punishment of hell are eternal. The Bible clearly states in Malachi 4:3 that the wicked will be ashes under our feet. When God rejuvenates this planet into the New Earth, the wicked will have been burned up and they no longer exist, the devil and his fallen angels included. Rev. 21: 1-3. It is certainly truth that Christ has the keys to death and hades because He rose from the dead. He was dead and now is alive. Hell is not a perpetual torture of anyone for eternity. That is not what a loving God would do to someone who sinned in this short lifespan we have that is a tiny blip in time. He will completely annihilate the sinful and sin. Sin will exist no more Rev. 21:4. Sin cannot exist any further, as God's character is vindicated by those of us who overcome (Rev. 21:7-9) and fully reflect Christ's character, it will cease. If hell was perpetual, sin would still exist in that realm. This idea of perpetual torture was concocted by Jesuits and others before them trying to scare people into the Church. Punishment happens in a burning hell, yes, however those who are there are burned up and no longer exist. The same words are used to describe Sodom and Gomorrah but are they still burning today, no. They endured the punishment and they were destroyed completely as the result. Have a beautiful blessed day. May the Holy Spirit guide you in your studies.

Very true. The Bible says the path is narrow to enter the kingdom. Not many will be able to get on that very narrow path.

Satan does have eternal life, according to the bible, he was gods favourite angel. His sin was his use of that love for power.

The Bible does not say that at all. Sin will be eradicated along with satan and the sinful.

I believe 100% self-sufficiency is a myth that people believe in. Your opinion on the temporary state of hell is completely unscriptural. This sounds like Mormon doctrine. Do you make your own bleach, gasoline, mason jar lids… So then how will you be 100% self-sufficient?. judging others on self-sufficiency and at the same time denying God‘s judgment is a huge airball. You are confusing a homestead with a doomsday survivalist.This is very disappointing. “Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. . . . And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell, “where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.” Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire. This actually means that they are currently in the everlasting lake of fire now! Hopefully you can read the Bible in the future without an agenda but with a clear comprehension of truth.

Tom, you sound angry about both topics but I welcome a good discussion. I have no idea what Mormon doctrine says but I do know what the Bible says on the subject of hellfire. Isaiah 1:18 says: Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord… I think you maybe misunderstood what I was saying while additionally accusing me of saying things I did not say. I in no way downplayed God's judgement. I never said our sins don’t eternally condemn us…they do, and unless they are covered by the blood of the Lamb, we will perish. The only way is to believe in Jesus Christ, repent from your sins, and follow the commandments of God as He commanded (John 14:15). Let me help to clarify what I meant. A loving God will not burn continuously forever a person whom he loves for a short life of sin in the span of eternity. The Bible teaches the punishment of the wicked is death and that death is everlasting, meaning permanent. The Bible teaches that the wicked will be thrown into the lake of fire, are burned up, and will be ash under our feet. Satan will be destroyed forever and not rule over an underworld. He will not have eternal life. These are lies that come out of the false church and perpetuated on the world for the last 1700 years. I work off of the Word of God only. Sola Scriptura. Have a blessed evening. Please continue to study God’s Word.

On your premise of a living God then why would he not destroy Satan before he brought forth downfall of mankind? My point is applying your logic of a loving God stating he would not eternally punish sin is according to your feelings on the subject. Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. . . This actually MEANS that these people are undergoing eternal fire as you say they are not burning…..they ARE in hell. I’m not trying to be harsh but I must believe that you read Scripture with an agenda of your own premise denying what is actually there or you suffer from a lack of reading comprehension.

You don’t think it strange that the Christian world has a different view? Good luck with future Bible studies.
