Naaaaaah! The addition of whiskey just shows how much the processing of brukutu has changed over time. Back in the 90s a calabash of BKT will get you tipsy within minutes!

Was born and grew up in Jos Jos is a beautiful city and despite leaving Jos since 2009 I still love this city to bits My family all stay in Jos till now I'm igbo from Anambra, Jos Plateau state remains my home

It is a traditional drink in my hometown, Magongo Community in Kogi State. We call it Ade. It is a daily drink and for festivals as well as palm wine drink. The sweet part of the very day. Bro, ours get people high without adding any other whisky. God bless your hard work

So, they are heavy drinkers, they add the whisky because the normal high is not enough, so my father is Magongo and I grew up in Jos

at Jos their English is quite good...my observation. could be the basic education they get there is so good that even if they don't further, they communicate fluenty in English language. They hardly speak pidgin too...

Guy, we are talking Jos here! Jos is a metropolitan city, except for the slow pace of the place and low economic activities, it is very similar to Lagos. I stayed in Utan area of Jos North, but I never entered burukutu joint before 😊
