I’ll debate you with facts and knowledge based off of his own account. In 2021-2022 his Patron page said gta actor (source Hugo one and in his video it shows it) and on that all you yourself set those features so he was at one point fine with being associated with the character, does that mean that people should think of him as a Trevor in irl? Obviously no but it shows he was fine with it at one point when Hugo paid for a video. Another good point against him is he chose the role and when people paid him to act like Trevor on his patron which said gta voice actor he took the money and dissed them, no where on his pages did if state that he didn’t want to be associated or linked to the Trevor character when paying him on his patron page. He could’ve easily made a statement or refund Hugo. It’s misleading and disingenuous when stating yourself as a gta voice actor on patron and social media when you then turn around and attack people or fans when they ask you to replay a character that they paid for. I’ll debate you with facts and knowledge based off of his own account. In 2021-2022 his Patron page said gta actor (source Hugo one and in his video it shows it) and on that all you yourself set those features so he was at one point fine with being associated with the character, does that mean that people should think of him as a Trevor in irl? Obviously no but it shows he was fine with it at one point when Hugo paid for a video. Another good point against him is he chose the role and when people paid him to act like Trevor on his patron which said gta voice actor he took the money and dissed them, no where on his pages did if state that he didn’t want to be associated or linked to the Trevor character when paying him on his patron page. He could’ve easily made a statement or refund Hugo. It’s misleading and disingenuous when stating yourself as a gta voice actor on patron and social media when you then turn around and attack people or fans when they ask you to replay a character that they paid for. Guys, it isn't because he doesn't want to he remembered, it's because he hates why he's remembered. With Michael and Franklin's VAs, people always ask them to say cool lines or to be friendly. With Steven, they always ask him to act like Trevor. They ask him to insult them, to berate them, to be mean to him which couldn't be farther from how he wants to he interacted with. He wants to he friendly and great and nice to them. That's why he hates it. Imagine yourself if the only thing people want you to do with them is to be mean. It’s super valid to feel this way. Especially after the last clip like this just isn’t his life the way it is for Ned and Shawn. It think he could try a bit more to not make people feel bad for only knowing that one piece of work from him but at the end of the day he is an incredible actor and I simply cannot blame him for wanting to be recognized for those other roles that he might feel prouder of. Rockstar paid him for his role in their game, the fans gave money to Rockstar and ended up liking a character in their game. Actors are celebrities because people like their acting. So it's pretty arrogant of fans to say "they made him," when it's his hard work that made them his fans. So they didn't make him, he made them. Plus, most actors don't like being typecast, so him being annoyed by it is understandable. Some actors don't even like watching the shows/films they star in because some people feel like they don't live up to the high expectations they have for themselves. I've heard it likened to hearing your own voice for the first time and being put-off by it. Offscreen they are humans, not the characters they played. He isn't Trevor, he's a human who voiced a fictional character.
