I did the chair challenge in middleschool for the first time decades ago for science class. Our male teacher was so hyped to end the last half of the class period telling the boys "Today, there's going to be a competition. And there's no way you will win." I remember going straight home after school and waiting impatiently for my two older brothers to come back.💅💀

According to my science teacher (I don't know if it's a fact), its because males and females have different centers of gravity. Males center is in the area of their chests, while with females it's lower (below navel/uterus).

the squat has nothing to do with them being asian. The girls couldn't do it probably due to lacking of mobility (maybe the angulation of their anckles reach less then 40º). The only correlation that I can see with being asian is the way they are used to seat. Westerns tends to use more chairs and be more sedentary then they.

I think it has to do something with the anatomy of the body a woman has a lower center of gravity than a man which pull them down more on the squat while man are more top heavy they can align more mass to the middle with their chest while girls get pulled by their butt basically it is the same reason why men have it more difficult with the first one

In the west it is knows as the "asian squat" because most asian people can do it, with their heels on the floor. Westerners squat with their heels up high because they lack ankle flexibility. That can come from parents putting shoes on babies too quickly, or never needing to squat because in the west people sit in more chairs and sofas than on the floor, and there are more western toilets than squat toilets. Westerners can do the squat, they just have to train their ankle flexibility.

im gonna explain the squat. that is called the asian squat saying only asians can do it and woojin and junhyeon did it even though their boys. the only reason that girl could the do in the video is because she was in feels so technically her feet are on tippy toes

See it’s not only an Asian squat. It is presumed that way because much of it is not shown out but Africans do that squat like all the time. The only difference is it is publicized more on the Asian side than the African side but trust me Africans can do this squat without breaking a sweat

I love Junhyeon so much lmao.... I tried everything and I can do everything :)) (except for the squat challenge...I tore my ACL two times and so one knee can't bend the whole way. I can do It with one leg though (it's like doing a pistol squat except you hug your leg when you're all the way down)).

It’s because men and women have different proportions so men physically have a more built upper body so their upper body is already heavier than their lower body n bc it’s unbalanced for women it’s the opposite so women even if they pick up extra weight the upper n lower remains balanced (centre of gravity)
