11:40 "And the kids are liking this?!?" I feel like the biggest mistake adults like to make is underestimating young generations, their curiosity and ability to learn. Humans are curious creatures. Unfortunately schools have learned to take curiosity out of children by their teaching methods. I love to learn, but once I understand it, I don't want to keep going over it again and again. Homework consists of doing worksheets. Creativity breeds curiosity. If you take out the creativity, the wonder, the excitement, curiosity goes with it.

“And the kids are liking this?!” “Do they know what’s going on?” This is what many people don’t understand and this is why they underestimate us as the next generation. This fan base is from a variety of ages but most of the fans are young adults. As humans we are naturally curious and we won’t let a simple language barrier stop us from understanding the universal language of music. Most people come to the conclusion that we are there for the looks and for the boys but honestly- not everyone is a little girl in the fandom. We have a variety of ages with a variety of genders with a variety of identities and so on. They don’t look into why our fandom is so dedicated. They don’t search for the meaning behind the songs, they don’t look at the words covering their albums, they don’t look at the influence that they put on us. They may call us insane but that’s because they don’t realize the true meaning behind BTS and their fan base, ARMY, who give their at most dedication to BTS and try to spread the positive message around. Edit: Lol idk why people loved this post but i guess it’s just army love. - BTS are not only showing that they are artists but that they are also people with amazing personalities. It may only be what they show on screen but it’s still special to armys around the world. I would just like to say thank you to BTS for all theyve done and if they ever did find this comment EVER- just know you saved so many people and gave hope and love to so many more. We purple u BTS 💜

And if any of you read this. I am on Twitter @meneely_meneely. I will give you my cell number so I can talk some sense into your parent. If my daughters listened to BTS I would be so proud. in all honesty, what I like the least about these statements is that they pretend like we just listen to BTS, not caring what they're about. For most of us Armys, we must have found BTS somehow through the internet and the information we have about them is all gathered through the internet. In my country, BTS is basically never on the TV or radio (maybe also because I live in the literal nowhere) so everything I know about the boys I had to learn by myself. There was no tv show or something telling me stuff about them. And with all that there is no way I didn't hear about their message and all. Most of us international Armys either don't speak Korean at all or know too less to understand the majority of the lyrics but I personally don't care all that much because luckily there are translations and subtitles and even if I couldn't translate a text word for word, what stays in my mind is the message of the song and that's what matters the most.

I am 48. Been a fan (ARMY) for 4 years! My niece who is in Philippines had me listen to their songs (No more Dreams)...I was hooked after that!
Damn that radio host though! I have mad respect for him! He even told that other guy off about how we’re not all kids and that there are people of all ages listening to BTS! I wanna meet him and give him a high five 😌👏

Thank you Mike. You deserve a round of applause cuz all of the interviewers and radio hosts who interview or play bts can't even get the names down and just ask who they wanna collab with but Mike researched so much and I really appreciate that 💜

in the last clip i was getting so annoyed with the two guys the main guys was talking to. they need to learn how to respect artists and how to respect people in general. if you think the army will not come at you for not respecting bts, we most definitely will. If you don't want to respect people who are only doing good for this world you will get hate.
@tsundereyoongi38694 жыл бұрын
Yeah so next time anyone decides to lash out, get angry, be rude etc as an army, let's remember what this guy said and make sure to live up to what he has seen. We're respectful, kind, understanding and smart but not in an arrogant way. Let's be the best fan army in existence 💜

I love being an ARMY. Most ARMY’s that I have met (not all) have been wonderful individuals who accept and welcome anyone with open arms and I’m so grateful to BTS because they made this happen, without them I would have never met such amazing people. I purple all of you 💜💜 thank you BTS!

I LOVED that radio host person. He saw ARMY for what we really are, not what it’s easy to see us as. He gave us and BYS a chance, and was willing to proudly admit that he liked it, regardless of people’s views. More people need to be as open minded and non-judge mental as him.

I wasn't into Kpop before and I heard about bts when I was in high school. I thought that they're the same as other kpop artists, singing about unrelated stuffs so I just ignored them. Until one day I decided to give a listen and understanding their lyrics (after being pestered by my cousin who is a long time ARMY) My mind change that day, and their music is just my cup of tea. Great lyrical content and brings out the curiosity in me to learn more and more, until I stumble upon B.U and I fell in love with their concepts. Now I am a proud ARMY for several years now and my biased is Suga 😊

Army is laid back chill and positive. Most people may have encountered toxic fans and I get there point as why they call all of us toxic but were all not like that. Most of us are really nice actually and we respect you still if you don't want to get into BTS or like them. NOW! If you start spitting unwanted opinions that nobody asked for you'll get 2 responses. 1. The kind army that politely tells you to stop and reasons with you 2. The not so kind army that can MESS YOU UP! Strong power, thank you 💜
