11:40 "And the kids are liking this?!?" I feel like the biggest mistake adults like to make is underestimating young generations, their curiosity and ability to learn. Humans are naturally curious and especially children, we only lose that interest because we learn to not ask any questions and to not care.

Humans are curious creatures. Unfortunately schools have learned to take curiosity out of children by their teaching methods. I love to learn, but once I understand it, I don't want to keep going over it again and again. Homework consists of doing worksheets. Creativity breeds curiosity. If you take out the creativity, the wonder, the excitement, curiosity goes with it.

The radio host just completely spoke facts.... BTS is not the average "music" artists that make songs about heartbreakers, breakups, drugs, having fun or anything...they make music for those who wants to listen to good music...those who wants to listen to music a means to escape reality and think about it...and they deserve each and every army in the world.

There's a saying....don't argue with an fool...by standers can't tell the difference I just got into them and respect them and like some of their songs..... at the beginning because of these toxic fans....it kept me away from really checking them out...I didn't love it at the 1st listen....it takes time to get into any songs in general no matter the music or artists, it takes a few listens...but their talent is apparent. So the best response to these ppl who are Pokey at the fandom is to ignore them....don't engage... And show them by responding with elevating BTS higher with your support.... “And the kids are liking this?!” “Do they know what’s going on?” This is what many people don’t understand and this is why they underestimate us as the next generation. This fan base is from a variety of ages but most of the fans are young adults. As humans we are naturally curious and we won’t let a simple language barrier stop us from understanding the universal language of music. Most people come to the conclusion that we are there for the looks and for the boys but honestly- not everyone is a little girl in the fandom. We have a variety of ages with a variety of genders with a variety of identities and so on. They don’t look into why our fandom is so dedicated. They don’t search for the meaning behind the songs, they don’t look at the words covering their albums, they don’t look at the influence that they put on us. They may call us insane but that’s because they don’t realize the true meaning behind BTS and their fan base, ARMY, who give their at most dedication to BTS and try to spread the positive message around. Edit: Lol idk why people loved this post but i guess it’s just army love. - BTS are not only showing that they are artists but that they are also people with amazing personalities. It may only be what they show on screen but it’s still special to armys around the world. I would just like to say thank you to BTS for all theyve done and if they ever did find this comment EVER- just know you saved so many people and gave hope and love to so many more. We purple u BTS 💜

I know plenty of ARMY's who would gladly lay their life on the life to save any one of these 7 boys. I being one of them. I would put myself between them and a bullet, without hesitation. I have seen the impact that BTS has had on the youth and young adults. I am a 45 year old mom and wife. And it drives me crazy when teens say their parents hassle them for listening and liking BTS. And if any of you read this. I am on Twitter @meneely_meneely. I will give you my cell number so I can talk some sense into your parent. If my daughters listened to BTS I would be so proud. Unfortunately I think my girls are a bit freaked out that their mom fan girls over boys that are there ages. I can't help it nor will it stop.

Most army just want to spread positivity as their artist, bts wants. except bts is also a group no matter the messages, the hard work, the achievements, and positivity they bring out stereotypical people just dont want to leave them to enjoy all that. People always talk about how the army is so ferocious but they never talk about all the shit they had to endure. the racism. the sexism. death threats. sasaengs. unfair treatment in the entertainment industry. radios that refuse to play bts no matter their achievements. people who just, for some goddamn reason, want to shout out how much they hate bts for no moralistic reasons. and MANY more... compared to the high volume of negativity they are faced with day to day honestly the bts army are quite a dignified group of fans compared to many other celebrity fan bases.

in all honesty, what I like the least about these statements is that they pretend like we just listen to BTS, not caring what they're about. For most of us Armys, we must have found BTS somehow through the internet and the information we have about them is all gathered through the internet. In my country, BTS is basically never on the TV or radio (maybe also because I live in the literal nowhere) so everything I know about the boys I had to learn by myself. There was no tv show or something telling me stuff about them. And with all that there is no way I didn't hear about their message and all. Most of us international Armys either don't speak Korean at all or know too less to understand the majority of the lyrics but I personally don't care all that much because luckily there are translations and subtitles and even if I couldn't translate a text word for word, what stays in my mind is the message of the song and that's what matters the most.

I love how we ARMYs are super polite and sincere when someone promotes BTS, but I also love how we just literally pull the rug under haters feet when they try to comment something bad about our BTS... It's like respect is a give and take process🥴💜 and we are literally a nightmare dressed like a daydream when you don't want to start that process💜💜🤷🏻‍♀

As Yoongi one said "You'll like BTS music if you listen without prejudice." And it's honestly so true. I think many people put down foreign artists just because they can't understand the language. I personally think it makes it even more beautiful when you have this childlike curiosity, because you love someone so much that you'll put effort into looking up translations for songs and even going as far as to learning the language just so you can feel a little bit more connected to them. Now that is beautiful, that is true love 💜

I cried while watching this. I don't know whether BTS will see this or not but I always thank them everyday of my life for making me the person that I am today. For teaching me self love, confidence and selflessness . There's this well known phrase in the fandom that goes "You don't meet BTS when you want them, you come across them when you need them the most". And just as the saying goes, I met them at a low point in my life and look where they've brought me to. I cherish their existence every single day. I hope wherever they are, whatever they do, I pray for their everlasting happiness and great health. To the seven boys who mean a lot to me, thankyou for being you. Thank you to your parents, your family, for your existence, for your songs and for your inspirational messages. Yours truly, An Army.💜

I wasn't into Kpop before and I heard about bts when I was in high school. I thought that they're the same as other kpop artists, singing about unrelated stuffs so I just ignored them. Until one day I decided to give a listen and understanding their lyrics (after being pestered by my cousin who is a long time ARMY) My mind change that day, and their music is just my cup of tea. Great lyrical content and brings out the curiosity in me to learn more and more, until I stumble upon B.U and I fell in love with their concepts. Now I am a proud ARMY for several years now and my biased is Suga 😊
