This is the BTS Army. We're not just screaming, wild teens most outsiders think of. BTS are extraordinary people who have always been inspiring people and giving out positive impacts in our lives. The charity projects are constantly being done by Armys around the world, for local organizations as well as international. And some just do random projects on their own, showing acts of kindness and compassion to less fortunate people. Because BTS has always been that way even before they were called global superstars. Thank you MTV for showing that being BTS Army is more than just fangirling over cute boys. Cause BTS is definitely more than that. They're not your average boyband.

I fucking Hate homosexuals,bts and fortnite no actually. People that are so bored with life, insecure about themselves and are so full of hate (you’re a good example) think that. BTS are just singers who have achieved a lot because of their fans. Bangtan were poor people fighting for their family at one stage so don’t hate on them. You can hate on army as much as you want because I honestly don’t like most people in this fandom anyways but don’t go attacking people directly because it’s fucking annoying

My girlfriend and I attended the BTS Love Yourself Speak Yourself concert at the Rose Bowl in SoCal on May 4th. It was my very first concert in my life. I am not an Army but the reason why I attended is because my girlfriend was attending. I didn't want her to go alone. It was an awesome experience! Especially with the "Army Wave" going on while they wait for BTS for almost like 7 minutes (I wonder why). It's amazing to see how Army unites. I want to thank my girlfriend for bringing me, Army for their enthusiasm and BTS for an outstanding performance and making my first ever concert experience paramount. :)

I met a 24 year old Muslim American in an alley outside my guesthouse and helped her find her guesthouse. Why are u in korea? She said she loves kpop. Me too!!! We both said BTS and I said j-hope is my hope and Suga is my inspiration. We spent everyday together and in June we are going back with 2 other Armies- a 25 yr old korean male and 24 year year old student born in Africa living in the states. That’s the power of BTS-bringing people together. 💜💜💜💜

I'm a 32 year old ARMY and BTS has helped me in many ways. I had problems with depression and anxiety attacks that when I listen to their songs (particularly RM's MOONCHILD) it helps me come down from an attack. Whenever I feel depressed I go and watch videos of them being silly. Knowing that they deal with the very same issues as their fans (anxiety, depression, family issues, eating disorders, ect.) makes them more human in a way that most celebrities aren't. That they take the time to communicate thru Twitter and that they make it a point to thank ARMY for every award, every interview, every concert shows that they see us as their support system as well. Hearing their often positive messages in each of their songs is very uplifting. For most fans, it's what keeps them going at times, myself included. ARMY💜BTS💜 FOREVER
@alexanderpascual19115 жыл бұрын
I was also depressed during my younger days,and the thing that helped me is to stop thinking about reality(Everytime possible) to stop real emotions from hurting me.I DECIDED TO BE SELFISH and save my self from every harm that goes my way. DAY DREAMING was my escape since there was no internet or TV cable that time. BTS teach us to love our selves,funny cause because of them I decided to love myself less and open up and share love to people cause I'm now strong enough to do so. Young Army's are so lucky to have BTS and how I wish they were there when I was way younger,that would have save me a lot of trouble growing up and the people around me that I hurt while struggling to survive my youth.

Thank you MTV that is the first coverage that has been the most accurate yet. BTS Army is very powerful for that reason. But not only that, there are a few little things as well, like Army has apparently given to the victims of the japan/korean war, suga donated meat packs to the shelters, army has sent flowers and thank you to radio/tv stations for hosting or playing BTS, army pays for large billboards or times square to help promote and show their love for bts. Army also splinters off into smaller groups that help others in the name of BTS as well. Even recently media in japan attacks BTS over the shirt incident, Army calm in its wisdom not only donate to the victims but Jarmy attend all the japanese concerts in support to show that they support and love their members, have trust and faith in them. Add these reasons to your ones above and yes you have a very powerful movement that is extremely empowering one that makes each and every one of us proud and smile when someone new finds BTS and see's that love and wants to take part.

I've been a fan since 2015, when the boys were treated horribly I made a vow to myself to take them as high as I could. I didn't realize that along the way i'd grow respect for different cultures and also go on a journey of loving myself. I've made better friends through BTS who have literally mailed me jackets, letters, BTS merch, without having ever met me. And when I meet ARMYS at concerts or Burn the Stage, I always go alone because I know I'll make a friend right away. The nicest people I have ever met and all thanks to BTS who remind us to love ourselves and each other

ARMY isn’t what it seems, they describe us as loud, disrespectful, rude, annoying, and pathetic girls/boys. and i will admitt that outta 100 of us, only like 00.00.01% percent of us are like that. but it will never change how we feel for these boys. we cry for them. we fight for them. we spend for them. and we live for them. we always say ‘i wish bangtan will love us. i wish they would marry me. why won’t they notice me’ baby, they have. remember when yoongi said ‘keep ur ring finger open for us’ and he wore an official btsxarmy ring for a long time ? remember when taetae said ‘i have something to say, your ours. you belong to us’ and after that i stopped stanning other groups. their music brought us together. some of us might not understand what they’re sayin in their songs, but i know we can all feel it. for that, our only job as an ARMY, is to keep it together. when they disband will we ever give up ? no. will we fight for the lucky girls position? never. will we keep giving them the world ? anytime they ask. so in conclusion... dear antis, ARMY is a family. you can mess with us, but not BTS.

Even after watching burn the stage, my mom still doesn’t understand why they’re so popular and I’ve explained to her so many times why and she still tells me, “every artist can do that and they’re only doing it for money.” JFKFJHRJ WDYM like bts really does tackle the taboos of mental illness and society norms and they really reach out to fans and connect with them and not all artists do that MOTHER, actually, hardly any of them don’t.
@tkhhk99856 жыл бұрын
Anonymous Channel , the way I see it, during the first three years of their debut, they mostly focus on the social illness, corruption and hypocrisy of the Korean society but instead of garnering support and appreciation, they rather garnered more hatred and antis from the people. Therefore, they learnt to deal with such type of harsh criticism and backlash though they didn't do anything wrong. This gave them to realise the value of self-respect or self-esteem in propagating good messages and came out with the idea of LOVE YOURSELF series through their experience the next year....I'm not a fan since the beginning and I don't know them much but that's the way I see it. They are human as much as us and they suffered alot of mental illness or depression due to the harsh environment around or when they think too much of fitting into the lifestyle and standards set by others but they knew they can't make everyone to love them no matter how much they try and that's when they realise the value of self-love....Sorry if I'm wrong or my English is not understandable... What I value is they teach other from their experience and that's powerful and practicable...RM speech at UN testifies the idea of love yourself series was spring out from his or their experience...

The worst part of being an army is the constant hate and bullying you get from others because you love an IDOL group! but the best part is knowing what that these people(bully's) are ignorant and don't know what they are talking about. These boys knowingly or unknowgly brings so much joy to the world. spread so much positivity. gave troubled youth a chance to live life and all the haters/bully's thinks about is how "Gay" it is to listen to a bunch of boys dance and sing a language you don't understand. Thank you BTS for existing! i may not love myself today but every day i "promise" to not throw myself away when I'm down. and i will one day be proud of myself.

Finally this is happening. I'm just glad that our fandom isn't being looked at to negatively as people like to believe. People often stereotype fandom's as being this type crazy fangirl that is obsessed with boys looks. I'm thankful that we are getting recognized for the thing that keeps supporting BTS and the amazing way they have impacted all our lives.

I am a practising lawyer since 3 years, the nature of this job is so hard and tiring that sometimes it frustrates you and make you person that you are not supposed to be. Then I came to know about BTS through a colleague. He also has the same problem as mine. I have been following and listening to them since 2 years and i can say they personality and their music inspired me to be a better person than i was before. Now i am good lady to everyone. Positivity in their music hit me. Now i am a proud ARMY and always will be. Thank you for trying to know us.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

OLDER ARMYs...you are very special! While preteens and teens seem to make up most of the fan base, I think millennials (those the same age as BTS, mid 20s to 30s) have a special connection as many of BTS’s songs speak directly to their generation and struggles of people their age. While their music is universal, it also has some more mature and contemplative themes that are specially related to those “growing up” with BTS, at the same stage in life as them. It can be really discouraging knowing that BTS fans are widely known as screaming and sometimes rude 13, 14, 15-year-olds, but know that us millennial baepsae (😂) have our own unique way of loving and relating to BTS.

I'm from St Barth and St Martin! 3 And yes, I totally agree with you, this video is wonderful, I'm so glad MTV did something like that! In France the main TV channel (TF1) did make a short "documentary" about BTS, but it was very stereotyped and offensive to the fandom and members :/ (Sorry if my English is not very good, it's not my first language :(

As a kid back then, I got pretty shy about admitting that I liked BTS back in like 2014 or 2015 because my classmates were making fun of them. But I came to the conclusion that even if they make fun of them or not, it doesn't really affect my appreciation towards the boys. I'm a proud long time fan and I don't mean that in any kind of bragging way. Man, the boys did so well in just a few years.
