Previously, in the timeline of human history, human slaves were housed by their owners. These slaves were also fed by their owners. And if they were injured their owners sought ought medical for them. Currently the slaves, also known as the working class, pay for their own existence. And just because they don’t see the chains or a cage they believe they are free. Imagine tricking the slaves, they still exist to work, and now they pay for their existence along the way. Anything made or gained in the workplace is spent on existence so they can return to the workplace.

The average person has never been so poor. Millions of families are struggling financially as living expenses hit the highest levels in more than four decades. Over 60% of our country lives paycheck to paycheck and about 40% earns poverty wages. Even after working all their lives, more than a quarter of older people have no savings and many believe they will never be able to retire in dignity, while around 55% of elderly people try to survive on an income of less than 25,000 a year.

The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, work part-time, and save for the future. I'm concerned about whether those who navigated the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am currently experiencing. The combination of stock market volatility and a decrease in income is causing anxiety about whether I'll have sufficient funds for retirement.

His name is Jack , he's a good boy. I think the neighbors are struggling financially so we don't mind helping Jack when he's done eating he runs across the pasture towards his house then stops turns looks back and barks as to tell us thank you guys I appreciate the food. 🐕 August 30 2024 update: Jack trust us enough to come into the kitchen today he's very skidish so we left the door open so he could eat walk outside come back in eat and repeat. Hope he trust us enough by winter incase he needs to get warm he will know where to come to warm his cute self. He's such a good boy he doesn't deserve to be hungry or cold. Thought you would appreciate an update. Thanks for all the kind words we tell Jack how much you guys care about him every day. December 8: it's 28 degrees outside Jack is trusting us enough to come right inside now. We put an electric heater and blanket down for him but still only eats and let's my wife pet him. @russtyruss_i-Invest5 ай бұрын
Sell or give them away, take the 200$ and put them in a Roth/IRA, half in SPY half in QQQM for 30 years, average yearly return of 10% (S&P over last 30 years 8%/Nasdaq 14%), in 30 years without re-investing dividends (you can add that on top), you'll have 410,000$ in your account. It may not seem like much, but most middle class people don't even have 150k$ saved up by the age of 55. If you start at 20yo that means you'd have that much by 50yo, add another ten years and you'd have 1,101,089$+ That is a minimal example, because if you take a little more risk and buy some of those two and then take some shares in companies like Microsoft for one of my top examples you'd make at least 20% average yearly, some years you make 60%, and they also pay dividends which you can re-invest. The first element is knowledge, few people know this, the second element is self-discipline, most people don't bother with investing at all until they are past their mid thirties, some even later than that.

@@marisavandermeer1696 Well, if I may be blunt, your love of those animals is possibly going to result in the equivalent of loving being financially limited, unless you really can easily afford it and have enough money to live comfortably. Trust me, I know there can also be unexpected costs, my younger daughter had to bring a new dog to the vet-hospital only a couple of days after taking it home, only to get smacked with a 4000$ bill. I also know what making wrong choices in life has resulted in, for me relative to many other things not even closely associated to pets, but most people end up that way only regretting the choices they made half way through life, and they think it was life that put them through it all and don't want to even fathom the fact of the matter is you 'live with the consequences of your choices'! Complaining to others about them doesn't fix anything. Before things reach that state, make better choices. Sadly, the majority of people only realize this in aftermath. If only we took more time to think and re-think everything, specially decisions about important things like partners and pets. I wasn't any smarter when I was younger, I made really dumb choices. Now I know now that I should have made better choices in some things. I still ended up succeeding where many may have failed. I'm only carrying the message, you do what you want with it, but the one thing I can tell you is that if I had started investing much earlier, my life would have been so much different than it is today. To finish on a positive note, if you are able to put as much into investing as you put into your animals and the love thereof, which is basically the equivalent of an expensive hobby for some people, then start putting money aside as I suggested and thank me when I'm 6 feet under ground in 30-40 years...unless I'm still alive lol. If you spend on a pet and complain that you can't afford any single thing, gas/transportation, milk, food, rent, repairs, clothing, literally anything, you have to reassess your priorities and budgeting skills. You can still love animals without having to possess any, unless you can actually afford it and have enough for everything else. That's a whole different story. Don't say nobody ever told you, you could be debt free, financially free, and before you even imagined you could be if you follow a few basic rules. My intention here is only to give you at least a shot at knowing now what you may be wishing you knew earlier in life than if you reach 55 years old and see a message like this one. Start investing, SPY&QQQM monthly 200$ for 30 years 400k$+ is the result, 40 years 1.1M$+ is the result. As your income grows, it becomes easier to put away the same amount after 5 to 10 years in, you could even increase your investing amount and the results will just be exponentially greater, because the more you put in the earlier, the greater the result is. It's the magic of compounded interest or profits. All the best, good luck.

If you watch old cartoons and movies, from the 1930s and 40s, you'll notice that many of the characters in those stories are obsessed with food. This is because the writers knew that starvation was something that a vast majority of their audience could identify with. People living in destitute poverty and struggling just to keep from starving to death for their entire lives, while the wealthy have too much of everything, is kind of the norm for human history. The post-WW2 prosperity that America has enjoyed for the last several decades has been the anomaly.

Start sharing rooms, buy a trailer, RV and park it in the backyard or driveway, plan on living in your car etc. The point is, it's time to put away the pride, share resources, reduce your spending and get through this, because it's going to last for years and it's going to get much worse.

I wonder if everyone sees middle/upper class lives on TV and think that is how it should be. Or if they are just poorer than their parents were? Maybe its just that 2016-2019 was comparatively a much better time that we all got used to. Its a good question whenever public sentiment and the economy numbers aren't matching up.

This is orchestrated by the "You-N" and the "dubya E Eff". They are controlled by the central banks. These were started by families of small hats who are fakes. They have bought off politicians and the media. This is about control and them wanting to bring their fake mashiach to rule over the goy, a much smaller population of goy than exist today. Everything from the cv 9-teen was intentionally done to destabilize the economy to cause inflation and then collapse. They then can offer people their "solution" digital currency that is tied in with a social credit score and the motb. This isn't simply Democrat or Republican, though both of those parties are bought and paid for by this group. The economy may collapse before December, but probably not later than sometime next year. Jesus will be returning for his bride. Those left behind will likely endure hell on Earth for seven years.

I just got my insurance renewal, and mine jumped 27% this year. It’s $3000 for 3 older vehicles. Two are completely paid off and I don’t have any tickets and perfect credit in the 800s. I looked around and everyone is about the same price within a few hundred. My agent said all the providers hiked their rates this year because of how expensive it is for claims on EVs and the general higher repair cost of all the electronics on new vehicles. I always pay for the year in full up front and have never caused them any issues other than a claim for hitting a deer and a cracked windshield. It’s strait up extortion at this point. The insurance on my house has also increased 100% over the last 10 years, my house is paid off, and I have never had a claim.

At 16 in the UK I started work, I knew the importance of buying a house and having somewhere to live. I never went on european holidays in the sun, never owned or learned to drive a car (walked to work every day), never went to nightclubs, or pubs a lot, never spent money on wild women, etc. Life was a little dull. BUT, the house was bought by 27, retired at 55, and now living 5 minutes from the beach in Thailand. My advice , save money, don't think your youngest years are the years of adventure in life. Live life when you have what you need. Do not think living at home means spend everything - it means save everything. All the people moaning are people that cannot give up luxuries, eating out, pets, travel, people sacrificing future for short term gain.

When I lost my job & medical coverage, I couldn’t afford private insurance & ran out of important medication, I called my physicians office & offered to pay cash for an exam so I could get a new prescription refill. They said “No can do, we don’t take cash payments for visits. We only take patients with medical insurance”. That’s messed up at a deep level. Even paying cash I wasn’t “worthy”.
