@Mr26muel
@Mr26muel 5 жыл бұрын
Better than entitlement that comes from thinking you are the next big thing without having lived enough to actually accomplishing anything. I don’t know if it’s a mater of culture, but on Latinoamérica we are taught to respect our elders, it’s almost always trust fund babies from first world countries the one who keep bashing their elderly and I can’t stand it. 😤
@flameshoter6
@flameshoter6 5 жыл бұрын
@@Mr26muel I can't stand the elderly who cannot respect anyone else.... but themselves.... But that goes to my general thought with anyone. When they hold traffic with 30 cars behind them and they choose not to pull over and be respectful, is considered disgusting in my book. It takes two bloody seconds.... And they have all the time in the world.... But they choose to go 30 mph instead of 50.... The young do not accomplish much because they are not provided the means to do so (if you don't understand that, you are oblivious to your surroundings or environment)...... And even then the older generation can get further because they had a life time of corruption..... That is why you see 50+ year old people in the news stealing over $100k for something as stupid as a fish tank..... or Jewish people stealing $1m or so from medicaid. They hurt others for themselves. Ego is the issue.... Most jobs are given away to who you know... Not from your experience or your capabilities. I don't think that is better entitlement than young people wanting to prosper. They want to experience the world. But if you lock them away and remove their potential and limit their abilities, they get pissed off.... Can you blame someone for not wanting to be locked away? The previous generations built up everything but never maintained any of it. The boomers sucked up everything leaving nothing for the current generations to take over..... I know I am not going to receive anything from my family. I worked hard and continue working hard with 2 jobs. Few days out of the week I am working 14 hours. I look after my mom. I help her. And I take care of the things she can't do. But it pisses me off that she doesn't use her brain at all. She will try to plan a meal. With all good intentions, but she'll want to make something like pork-chops. But I don't like them. And she could make a bunch of them. But she won't eat much of it anyway.... So there is a ton of waste. I have to yell at her because she doesn't comprehend me not liking it. And she'll only cook like two different meals. Something like mac and cheese or pork or chicken. But everything is just bland. Or under cooked because apparently she has no sense of temperature.... She doesn't know what cooking healthy means.... Even though she has watched cooking shows for over 20+ years, she just cannot comprehend making a good dish for once.... I try to take her out once a week.... And I pay for it all... I gave her my old car because her car broke. I saved her money by the hundreds by removing cable and introducing her to a thing called Netflix. Removed the house phone because we only use our cell phones anyway. I help her so god dang much, but she just cannot accept me.... Which seems to be the same thing with all elderly people. They just don't care. In a world where they grew up being ignorant and selfish, it remains in their attitude until the day they die. Surely not everyone is like that. But too god damn many....
@flameshoter6
@flameshoter6 5 жыл бұрын
@@Mr26muel Other frustrations come from them financially. Most elderly people retiring do not have the means of retiring. So they rely on their kids. But the kids are trying to build their own family, trying to afford their kids needs and wants and provide a house, etc. But now they have to take care of their parents in an already financial burden.... With many young people only making like $10 an hour expecting to save every penny but having to spend it to take care of their mom or dad..... Ruining their chance of getting a home in the near by future..... Lucky for me, I had a friend help me get a nice job after college. It is just a temp position. But I am making twice as much now than I have from the previous 5 years of me being in college. I was making about $11 an hour for a substitute custodian position. Now I am making $20+ an hour in a state position. That is just with a staffing firm. I'm gonna apply for the full-time position after the 6 months. If I get it, that means no more staffing firm taking my share. And I'll be making $30+ an hour. No way In hell did my parents help...No way in hell did my years of college help... Just simply knowing my friend, helped me get a position. My mom is going to lose her house... Because my abusive father decided to stop paying her alimony.... Yet, he was making over $100k salary..... She didn't work much these past 20 years. She took care of me and my sister. But she never provided any support to us... No encouragement. No love..... Yet, I provide all that stuff to her. And she doesn't understand that. Hopefully in the next couple years I can have my own place.... But of course when that happens, that just means she will have to stick with me...... Not like I have a fucking choice... I could just leave her to rot and lose her house. My sister as hell would do and will do that. But I will have to bring my mom with me everywhere until she freaking dies.... I just want a normal life. Some privacy.... etc.... Some respect... And assistance.... None of which I get.

@@zacharywilson9596 Actually, WeiWei smashed one of his own vases, and so did art collector Uli Sigg, who bought one of them. And it's not like those vases didn't have any value before. Maybe not such a high material value as some people guess, but still - some artisan made them a thousands years ago and put effort and love in their work. Those artists had nothing to do with the communist regime. So I really don't get the message. I did my own research and tried to find out...but sorry, it still doesn't click for me. Why would you allow for something that precious to be taken into a tv studio, and be handled by a random person anyway? Like apparently, the transportation itself ruined it, you are telling me no one was consulted to make sure the object wasn’t undergoing any risks? Like if you care a lot just send a journalist to the museum (or whatever) where it was kept and shot a video with a professional handling it

I have been living in China for 5 years. That video of the kids playing with that art, that is a very normal thing see in everyday life. They don't even hold their children hands while crossing the roads, just yell at them.

Ya Ive never understood that, whenever I visit my husbands family in Mexico, kids do what they want there too. I have lupus and actually been tripped, ran into hard and grabbed by kids there. People please for the sake of others try to reel in your kids, my daughter 6 and 3 and they'd never do that cause they know mama is watching. 👀

@@thediggler5614 I cannot believe that you did not understand my point! Weiwei dipped them in paint to make a statement. The other artist broke a vase to make a statement. Now is the time to google and figure out what and why so you don't wish death upon someone you don't know anything about. I'm not saying you should agree with the artists; just don't be that moronic, self indulging keyboard warrior who knows nothing about the things (s)he gets all murder-death-kill about. And here you are, talking shit in the comments section. I've seen how you talk to people who you disagree with and it's appalling! You should get help before you end up murdering people just because they have opinions you disagree with. I mean it, man! I'm worried for you! There is a cure for stupidity, you know.

Ask the visitors for a credit card prior to entering and tell them nothing will be charged on it before they leave. Then have them sign a waiver stating that If you break anything you will be charged a down payment for the repair on the credit card and the waiver is to hold the perpetrator liable for the remaining cost of the repair. If the piece is irreparable: $5000 - Visa (Down payment) $4152.78 times 360 months This would cover the $1,500,000 painting
