Re: unplugging a toilet without a plunger- use dishwashing detergent, use about half a cup, wait about 30 minutes, pour in a couple of cups of hot water, then flush. I have never had to repeat it. One flush usually does the trick

The pizza story at 18:31 reminds me of a story from someone I knew when doing my PhD. When he was a student, the fire alarm at his dorm went off at 2am, and their kitchen was ablaze. After waiting outside for the fire to be extinguished, they went back in and found that someone had been reheating a Domino's pizza, but had not taken it out of its cardboard box before putting it in the oven. To add insult to injury, the site manager said they would charge the culprit for the fire damage, but if nobody owned up, the bill would be split between them. That idiot stayed silent, and the students eventually paid around £200 each. However, they had their suspicions that this was done under the influence. The manager was speaking to the students in the corridor by the kitchen just before they went in, and midway through his reprimanding speech, this girl woozily opened her door and asked what was going on. That's right, she had slept through the entire fire alarm incident and could have fucking died. My friend suspected she did it, since you have to be pretty darn drunk to both do something that stupid and miss an entire fire evacuation, but sadly there was no evidence that she was the culprit. Some people are both stupid AND shitty.

Gotta disagree on that point. I don’t have a dog and believe me the last place I would want to be is a dog crate. It would be just my luck I would end up like them. (This may be TMI but Imma share with you anyway.) Being a senior, and someone who has to take pills for their heart ❤️ I’ll confess that one of them is a water pill. Right about the time the lock clicked shut my water pill kicks in and it’s all over!! Absolutely no way to get to a potty and nothing can be done about it! There are a TON of people who somehow honestly believe that pretty much ALL sea life lacks the ability to feel pain-despite the MOUNTAINS of evidence and experiments collected and conducted over MANY years PROVING they DO. That's the nonsense a lot of people use to excuse things like "catch-and-release" fishing. They insist that all of the "pain-LIKE" movements and behaviors they exhibit are just "automatic" survival responses. I've never understood the whole concept of boiling lobsters alive because "their meat spoils very quickly," either, when you can literally just kill them very quickly right before tossing them into the pot.

My husband was beginning classes for his masters degree so we were there for a special program for his orientation along w/several other people. We were all standing in the lobby waiting for another program inside this huge cathedral to finish up. This small entrance lobby was beginning to fill up and even that area was just beautiful with its high ceiling & ornate wall fixtures. I bought a new outfit, I wanted to make a good impression. It was all so exciting. I took a step back and remember hitting something. Well, this something tall & metallic fell backwards, hit the wall & a table, making the loudest clanging sound ever. Of course everything in there echoed. Several of the guys, my husband included ran to pick up what I had toppled. It was a sign that read “Quiet Please, Program in Progress”. My only saving grace was how the irony caused everyone else to laugh. Thankfully the other program WAS ending. After all we were there waiting to go into the chapel for our program to begin. 🙄😳 🤣🤣 It could have been worse! Hope your knee was OK. And thankfully YOU DIDN’T fall down that hill!

one day, three completely inept robbers decided to rob a bank. so they entered the bank, and got stuck in the revolving door. it took a while, but some bank tellers managed to help them out, so they left, only to return shortly and announce that they were robbing the bank. the tellers laughed, thinking it was a joke, which enraged the robbers, (who had forgotten to bring a weapon) so one of them jumped over the counter in an attempt to get at the money, who tripped and broke his leg. the other two robbers tried to run, but, GUESS WHAT? they got stuck in the revolving door AGAIN. the police arrived a few minutes later and arrested them.

If there’s a revolving door, they could get out by using the hole that they came in from. What were they thinking because revolving doors are common and you are supposed to leave by using the hole you came in with.
