This is a generational and cultural issue. Africans have spent times immemorial suffering and dying in silence, partly because the whole world keeps trying to tell them that their lives do not matter. But Africans need to learn to scream, rage, and fight for themselves and for their kin. Africa has one of the largest diasporas in the world, yet those who have emigrated are keeping themselves muzzled, refusing to look at what is going on in its home continent. Social awareness is totally missing in Arts, social media, and public discussions. This is by far the saddest thing.

What you have just reflected is the need for Africans to support their countries first before supporting other countries because others don't see them as humans worth saving and less important than the rest of the world. Many Bible students believe that ancient events and dating in the Bible are shadows and clues that foretell the coming of the Lord, even the timing. An example is the six days of creation, seen as 6,000 years of man’s dominion over the earth, before the return of the Lord and the seventh, or Sabbath Millennium of peace, with Christ ruling in Jerusalem. According to scholars, we are now at the end of 6,000 years since Adam.
