What Don Charles failed to see is that Uysk was making Fury work hard in the early rounds and had him slowed down by the time he landed the left. He also failed to see the punch that broke Furys nose the round before. Delusional.

The fact of the matter is that Usyk started strong, Fury had a strong response mid fight but got shut down from the 8th onward and almost shitted on himself in the 9th. That's how he was in control. if people like to admit it when watching the fight usyk needed something big after 7 rounds. he then caught fury on the nose in round 8, and had a big round 9 that really changed the fight. The knock down won it for usyk. people are trying to act like it wasn't a close fight.

You can say it was just a punch that changed the trajectory of the fight but it would be more accurate to say that Usyk worked Fury out after taking his bet work. Usyk is known for that and it should just be accepted that it was a fight of 2 halves but in this story, the tortoise won the race...again... after the hare had been cruising to a win and posturing along the way. Usyk just did not give Fury a chance to take his customary in-round breathers or get away with all of his technical flaws. No excuses - the better fighter won.

Hrgović has a good chin and good timing with his shots. He's not particularly fast. Dubois has a reputation of downing tools when it's not going for him in there. He wanted out when it got too hot with Usyk, Joyce, and Lerena. Although his team with McGuigan spurred him on to eventuallyget the win. Let's see how both Dubois and Hrgović will approach the fight.

If Peter Fury had been the coach, Fury would have win decisively. Tyson Fury would have been trained to handle a charging Usyk. Peter Fury would have known that Usyk would come straight ahead in the 2nd half in order to counter Fury’s long jab and range. Sugar Hill told Tyson Fury to maintain his stance when Usyk comes forward. John Fury told Tyson Fury to constantly backfoot. Either advice would have resulted in a knockdown by Tyson Fury. Peter Fury would have instructed Tyson Fury to change his stance without constantly backfooting. Peter F. Have always said that If an boxer cannot hit you, they cannot beat you. However Peter Fury also said that a fighter does everything to avoid getting hit, that fighter will get hit more than expected. In other words, he said a boxer has to know how to fight defensively as well.

BKM I just love your questions matey on the coaching side of things. What I do not get with Don however he never wants to elaborate on his answers lol. He was once asked by Danny from Seconds Out about what his strategy was with Derek Chrisora against Tyson Fury third fight and he said the same thing as he is saying now. I dont want to elaborate on that ? You have just asked him what BRICK he has added to Daniel Dubois development and he has said defence and I dont want to elaborate on that ? I raised this with Spencer Fearon whom recommended Don Charles to Daniel Dubois on what Don could add to Daniel's development and his answer was defence because Don was a good dancer ? Crazy answers and in my opinion I do not feel Daniel's defence has improved ? I saw no improvement with Daniel's defence against the 2 fights under Don Charles . Yes I do agree with Don however that he is blessed to have the opportunity to work with Daniel Dubois based on the recommendation from Spencer Fearon to Daniel's dad.
