Like many i never doubted his ability- all heavies get hurt . All of them . Just his doubt was in doubt but if last fight anthing to go by - hes now using the don Charles/ chisora more aggresive way but much stronger . i would like dubois to be all that these brits say about him , but the facts are he got 20 straight right hands with no defence in the first 2 rounds , then hrgovic gassed quick and dubois started headbutting towards a cut stopage . it was not a ko , it wasnt a decicive victory , he was just last man standing . hes flawed and when he gets real heat he quits . luckely for him hes british so he got a vacant belt gifted .

If he keeps using his head to soak up big punches he will end up like Jo Joyce, his defence was terrible, he was flat footed with very little head movement. On the other hand he looked to have a bit of grit to get through the early rounds, he was also very reluctant to use the double jab even though his head coach was shouting for him to do it. Fighters being head strong is one thing however if they don’t listen to the technical advice of his corner he is going to struggle at the elite level. Don Charles is a top man and coach-listen to him!

Still a touch early for dubois I think, if he was a 4/5 fights away now and progressed at a steady pace it would be perfect time to fight someone like Aj
