Thanks for sharing! To add to this, Fecal Microbial Transplants (FMT) have a 90% success rate in exchange for relatively low risk. So there is some risk that exists with this procedure. For example, one person receiving FMT got an e-coli infection because the transfer was done in a home setting, not in a healthcare or research setting. When the procedure is done in a clinical setting, the stool is screened to prevent the transfer of aggressive pathogens!
