nike is absolutely fumbling the bag right now w these shoes. they drop the first colorway more than halfway into the season (not the greatest imo but still clean!), not having em available on nike by you or in stores at all, 0 press about them. ppl want these shoes no matter what the internet discourse is, nike just needs to deliver.

Forget it. They azz anyway. Just a modern af1 × blazers with a softer midsole. NGL i hate it as a hoop shoe by it's looks lol. IDK why booker loves the kobes by suddenly came to this as his first😩 He's into vintage things but it aint working at all on the court. These are for lifestyle

Another reason for just heel zoom is its his first shoe. When creating a shoe in a series they consider what comes next, the 2 will most likely have forefoot zoom & nothing in heel. The 3 they might add an air strobal heel or regular air heel & change forefoot to zoom turbo. Its always interesting to see the evolution.

The 2 colorways the dropped sold out. Today the blue ones dropped and it’s sold out in every size besides the larger sizes like 14-15 i think

Nike has been making shoes fit rediculously short lately, Im thinking about go.5 size up from now on (and I like a snug fit), going from the true to size fit on a jordan 4 retro to any of nikes hoop shoes like a ja1 for example its crazy how tight it is and the difference between the two.

I have a pair and love mine (copped resale). Good on court and off court. My only mod is that I added an insole with forefoot and heel zoom with a carbon mid foot shank. These will be appreciated once they’re widely more obtainable.

I think it's because a lot of people hate D Book. A shoe is just a shoe until someone steps into it. But to me, I like how it looks and I want to cop one.

I got my pair today. They fell very nice on feet of my usual Kobe/ Lebron size. These are comfortable, supportive and low to the ground in the forefoot. I am with us7 in Jordans and us7.5 in Kobes/ Lebrons to get a better fit in length, and these fit even better in both length and wideth with us7.5.

Only reason I haven't gotten a pair is because of the size issue. I've heard they are tight on feet and even if you size up there still tight and I can't go in a store near me and try them on because nobody was carrying them. Very disappointed because I've been wanting the since first site and for this to be the first shoe why are they hard to get. I'm not going to go the extra mile for them because I can't try them on.

For a signature shoe book1 is mid, there are way of wade that are far more innovated and integrated with tech and positive in game feedbacks. Hell you can go back to kobes theyre way better even AE1s are good too.

Why they hated cause they look like a basic dad shoe. Another reason cause they are nike...nike uses cheap ass leather fused with plastic, just like a lot of other big brands. Once sneaker heads find about full leather shoes with leather lining and veg tan in soles, with a good year welt, blake stitch or some other stitch down construction they will never go back. Maybe just reduce there sneaker collection to 1 to 3.
