Some people do not realize how precious it is to be able to hear! There are individuals who are born deaf, lose their hearing to illness or an accident, etc. It is such a gift & blessing! I have partial hearing loss due to qualifying yearly for weapons qualification when I served on active duty in the US Army. I wear dual hearing aids for life. This video touches my heart deeply. Thank you for sharing the special moments...🤗🌹💖

This reminded me of a post someone did on reddit, how a girl had gone deaf around 18 years old and her parents refused to learn ASL or even put on captions on movies because they were annoying. They refused to accommodate her so she said that if they don't at least try to learn a little ASL to show their support she wasn't going to visit anymore because she felt like a burden and everyone told her she was unreasonable for making the demand. It's nice to see these families so supportive after reading something like that.
