People in Downtown Chico see little change after homeless camp enforcement

There are still several groups of homeless people throughout City Plaza and Downtown Chico, they just live in other camp sites now.

They are everywhere and trashing the whole place. We have so many in our apartment and lots of burglary and theft happening everyday. The other day I went to home goods close to me and all the shopping carts was gone. Homeless people took them all. And today I went to Aldi just they open also very few are left. So sad what America have become.

We need to clean the riverways Little Chico Creek is overrun with homeless (I'm not against the homeless) I am against Trash and big messes.... so yeah Little Chico Creek and Lower Bidwell are top priorities for keeping clean

I don't believe that the authorities in chico have the slightest clue in how to handle the homeless crisis. You just can't sweep the problem under "a rug" so to speak and think that it is going to be enough. It's not okay to treat people as if they are invisible. How else do you expect them to react? Basically today a lot of them came back and put there tents 10 ft away from where they were cleared out. That is just one big "F---"you!!

Then allow the homeless access physician's assisted suicide because you've literally left us 0 other options... You won't allow any real useful actual help... So just let us end it... Wrong. If we really wanted to solve the homeless crisis, we would put the homeless in mental facilities and/or drug rehabilitation centers. (90% of the homeless have mental health and/or drug addiction issues) They can then be released from these facilities once they are cured of their illness/disease. It's a "win win" for everyone and really shouldn't be too difficult to do!
