'People In East Look Like...' Rahul Gandhi's Advisor Sam Pitroda's Racist Remark Stirs Controversy

Congress leader Sam Pitroda has stirred a major controversy after remarking that Indians in the East resemble the Chinese while those in the South look like Africans, drawing swift criticism from the BJP.
In an interview with The Statesman, Pitroda, while discussing India's status as a democratic example, said the country's people "survived 75 years in a very happy environment where people could live together leaving a few fights here and there."
"We could hold together a country as diverse as India -- where people on East look like Chinese, people on West look like Arab, people on North look like maybe White and people in South look like Africans. It doesn't matter. We are all brothers and sisters," Pitroda said during the interview.
He added, "We all respect different languages, different religions, customs and food. That's the India that I believe in, where everybody has a place and everybody compromises a little bit."

The right question media need to ask should be why Pitroda should differentiate Indians based on skin color. In India there is continuity take for example Narendra Modi he looks like the head priest of Mohenjo-Daro while Amit Shah could be his assistant. Also there are technically no Semites (Yehudi-Arabs children of Abraham) in India. The Semitic-Arabs came up to Sind and Multan and were then soundly defeated by the Indians. This is similar to Southern Europeans, Southern Iranians, etc. the majority of whom are also Aryan. India has very few people of Semitic, Turk or Negroid origin. A few Negroid tribes are found in Gujarat they came with Arab slave traders. In the end India is the most diverse nation on planet earth yet the most united one as well. We accept everyone is not fair especially in Tamilnadu, its becoz of extreme hot climate with severe humidity. This Sam Pitroda should come to some villages in Tamilnadu & live in the hot climate for just 6months and within that he will become like African only. Some tans will never go. White colour is just an adaptation developed in the people who migrated to low sunlight regions. Lighter skin means a person's ancestors had good amount of genetic mixing with white skinned people. What is there to be proud about it? Black colour is a result of melanin that protects us from UV. There's nothing to feel proud about black colour either.
