I see your points here. I understand that Baela followed Rhaenyra's instructions to simply patrol, not engage or take action. Rhaenyra gave her a stern look when she admitted she wasn't flying at such a GREAT height. It really woulda been a shame for Baela to completely lose Rhaenyra's trust by acting on her own impulses. We dont need anyone else in that boat with Daemon.

I been seeing this too. People like to think cause she has a dragon she can do anything. 1) moondancer is a small dragon barely mountable. Because of her small size her firebreath will be small. Also she wouldn't be able to burn down that big of a forest. Yeah start a forest fire but that would take days to burn down a forest that size. 2) Baela didn't know where cole was at. If she would've just start firing. Cole and his man could have easily ran in any direction. Again her fire-breath is small. Not a big stream of fire like vhagar. I'm sure if baela caught them she would've. But they barely made it to the trees. Given them cover from a small dragon. I can say the show has some criticism. But this is not one of them.

Her burning Criston would not have ended the war, it would have garnered retaliation using Vhagar which they have not come up with a strategy for dealing with yet, not to mention disobeying a direct order from the Queen should be frowned upon.....so she did the right thing and let's be clear Criston hasn't even proven himself to be valuable outside of one on one combat atp so he's not worth making that kind of move for anyway

Team Green is way more aggressive (Warmongering) than Rhaenyra's Team Black. Rhaenyra is trying to be the civilized more mature one looking for alternative's than war, Baela is reflecting Rhaenyra's intentions. That is likely to backfire but still so far like Season 1, Rhaenyra is the better one. Rhaenyra will need to get more aggressive later on.

People are like "DAENERYS WOULD HAVE NEVER HESITATED TO USE HER DRAGONS!!" I think Daenerys was an epic and interesting character (I do not use the word "epic" lightly!) ... but how did willy-nilly using her dragons work out for her?? Not the topic of this video, per se, but I think that's going to be the point of Dany's story in the books too. The original show just fumbled the ball. This show is dealing with all of that the way the OG show should have, and it's clear that people can. not. HANDLE. it.

No spoiler but take Danyerys for examples If she had flown her dragons to Westeros and seized the thrown by force instead of trying to be diplomatic with Cersi, she would have not lost two of her dragons, the knight king wouldn’t have gotten one, Messinde would have her head and the bells would have never tolled in the last episode. Again sometimes you have to show your strength in under to prevent unnecessary f’ery from unpredictable adversaries
