PEOPLE KEEP SAYING THAT LUXURY YOUTUBE IS DEAD!

We are seeing quite a few videos where people either share their own story of how the era of luxury is over for them and then other videos where people are commenting on those videos. This is my attempt to answer the question is luxury KZbin dead and how I see my channel in all of this. It's a bit chatty but hope you like it!

I''m feeling the same as you. I have a large collection and just really have come to a point where I have enough. I don't plan on selling because I've done that before and later regretted having sold things. I'm just going to keep what I have and enjoy it. I do think we are just in another TREND due to the economy and how the world seems so crazy right now. Probably things will shift at some point and people will again be buying without thinking. I'm just going to sit back relax watch what interest me and let everyone do what they think is best for them at the moment. I do 100% think a lot of these KZbinrs will regret purging and will begin consuming again in the future! Unfortunately, when replacing things it will cost a lot more! BUT they will have new CONTENT! The cycle will start AGAIN! 🙂

I agree that this is a trend. And probably if these content creators who's channels were based on luxury who sold all the luxury stuff might regret it if they can't come up with other type of content to keep their income stable. And maybe in a few years it's more 'ok' to shop luxury again they might turn to it :)

the HIDUPZ would be super cute during the fall with a nude or tan or even tonal outfit! i’m thinking a tan wool coat with that bag!!

I was in Turkey recently and had a empriente multi pouchette with me. They show me a HIDUPZ bag and it looked just like it.

The definition of luxury is something that doesn’t happen often. An expensive purchase every month takes it from luxury to a regular, normal purchase and therefore not a luxury. It’s not normal for the majority of us to have so much stuff. I like the longer term reviews and I think that’s how I found you because you show Celine rather than just LV, Chanel and Hermès. I like Celine and Loewe more than the others.

I always buy authentic LV and Gucci. After spending $300 to buy a high-quality bag at HIDUPZ , I found that I would never spend 9K to buy a certain brand of bag...the price increase is so ridiculous

I think less consumption is trending right now. With the economy being the way it is, I am using contemporary bags more. But, my interest in luxury hasn’t died, it’s just on hold. I definitely won’t sell my bags because I’ve done that before and regretted it. The luxury KZbinrs that I follow have not stopped buying. They are still putting out content because they actually do love luxury bags.

Very interesting video. I don't think luxury youtube is dead, maybe is just that people change. KZbin viewers are not that young anymore and they may be interested in other kind of content now. I used to love my designer bags but since I have a 2year old boy, I tend to reach for "cheaper" bags (400-500€) so that I dont feel bad if they get ruined by juice, cookies or other baby stuff. I still watch luxury content but I'm not a luxury buyer anymore. What I most like about your channel is that you are very down to earth, you don't buy things just because they are trendy. ❤

I really feel it depends which circle you are part of. And I also the bigger the KZbinr, the more likely that they have burnt out.😅

Came back in the evening 😁: I hardly watch any big luxury KZbinrs anymore aswell - it just doesn’t feel authentic and relatable to me and I discovered so many smaller channels, since I do KZbin myself - I enjoy to watch and support people, that have a more similar lifestyle to me. I think about steping back to only doing one video a week often times - but usually I‘m not able to stick to it… somehow I‘m addicted to how busy it keeps me, to produce two videos a week 😂… But probably: fewer but higher quality videos probably would perform even better on KZbin, than trying to always keep up with two 🤔. But I‘m worried that it somehow might make me completely loose my YT drive 🙈. I don’t see myself selling a whole lot of my collection, could let go of some pieces, that I don’t use - but I think I will always have a lot and enjoy it 😁

I also feel that if I'd do only one video/week I'll somehow either mess my own views (I read from somewhere that YT loves consistency and changing it might impact how much they show the video etc) but also if it'll be easier for me to start skipping the weekly uploads etc. I'm more that kind of person who wants to do things well and planned than just when I feel like it :D I'm not gonig to sell my stuff either and I believe I'll "always" love luxury bags so can't see myself in a position where I'd suddenly sell everything
