We're biologically meant to thrive on plant based food as well. I love the two guys lol, so real. I doubt many people seriously expect that these cheap, oddly textured, bread-crumbed and fried things are "lean, white meat", but they act all freaked out about it. The wording of these "facts" are often also guilty of fear mongering, like why use the word "carrier" when it's just describing something used to bind the mixture? Even homemade meatballs use binding agents, no one blanches at those, and the percentage of binder used in meatloafs especially could be comparable to the stat presented above.
