Thank you so much! I've really learnt a lot! Your video takes you step by step to learning pronunciation, vocabulary and constructs and it's all in one sheet. The frequent repetition of grammar rules makes it easy to learn them. Greetings from Rome, Italy.

Question, why is there no Definite article when saying This/that is my mother? Sincere question. Or is that just an alternative way of saying it? Is there a hidden rule I'm missing?
@hebrew4learners2 жыл бұрын
Hi. I recommend that you watch all the videos in this playlist on Hebrew sentence construction. Definite articles are explained in one of the videos here' I don't think a single post can explain everything. Kind regards. m.kzbin.info/aero/PLRwmqgD2XXUQnzrUqSwbam5_0AvNsOAJQ

@@hebrew4learners Oh I’m familiar with prefixes and suffixes definite articles as well as direct markers etc, , I was just wondering if it was an exceptional way of saying it. I was using a video of yours for my students (great content by the way 👍) I’m use to saying it as either זו האמא שלי או זו אמי, but I will check out. Todah rabbah

Hi. Thanks for clarifying your question. In Hebrew, you also have the option to say "avi". It depends on the mood or tone. Using "abba sheli" is more common, though you may still hear some people saying avi. It's a choice of speaking style.

Hi. When I made this video, my computer was in the living room where my husband watches T.V. So I could not speak out to record my voice. That's why I had to generate the voice using the computer. 🙂

Please drop the music! The brain has enough to process with a new language, the music is only distracting.
