To answer your question on the incentives: 1) Money. As with anything medical in the US, there's actually a lot of money in the abortion industry. 2) Borders. It is a lot easier to get people to accept mass migration if there is a severe labour shortage. 3) Population reduction. I don't know the true reasons behind that agenda, only the various reasons stated publically to do with climate change, resources, etc. But there is definitely a population reduction agenda on the left, which is being achieved through a variety of methods including abortion and large scale sterilization of young people with the trans movement.
