Love and Attraction (both are different things) can cloud someone's judgment. I am the type of friend who observed everything around me and noticed if someone is showing red flags. I would try to hint my friends to be careful around them and don't trust them easily. At first, none of them listen to my warnings until they learn the hard way. I never shamed them or guilted them for not listening. Especially since I know they are regretful and don't need me saying "I told you so" because they are vulnerable. Though I can understand why some people may get annoyed. They listen to me now or follow my advice. I never had a friend who repeatedly made the same mistakes over and over again. If I did, I would probably give up on them. Nothing wrong in trying to help your friend but your friends show no regards then best to let them learn themselves and hope the best for them 🤷🏽♀️

After being tired of being told the same thing she took me to a skin specialist and I was diagnosed with eczema, I got treatment, and after a while things calmed down. Today me and my family had salad. We all ended up putting ranch dressing on it. I took a bite of mine, and it tasted sour, it was DISGUSTING! I’m a pretty picky eater, so my family all thought I was just being dramatic. They tried theirs and said it was fine. After dinner, my dad was putting away the food from dinner. He looked at the expiration date, and it said it expired 4/29/19. So we ate literally almost exactly 2 years old ranch dressing. This is exactly what I said to my parents, “I literally told yea it wasn’t good, but don’t believe me. If we ll get sick it’s y’all’s fault!” My brother has already puked once, and my stomach isn’t feeling all that great either.

This is my gut feeling, "I told you" story: On Sunday morning, I was feeling under the weather. I was fatigued, had a slight sore throat, and an occasional cough, I felt like something was wrong, but I didn't worry too much...until the next day. When I woke up the next morning, I felt a little better, but I still had a sore throat. Something in my gut screamed that I need to get a covid test, and I acted on that feeling, and told my mom that I was going to get tested, and she was against it and said I shouldn't go that it was probably just a cold or allergies...no way could it be covid (my mom is an amazing woman who just didn't want her daughter to have covid). She didn't stop me from getting tested, but voiced often while waiting for the results that it would be negative... So I just got my results, and they're positive. My mom apologized and admitted how wrong she was, I love you, mom! :) Update: We are feeling much better and are no longer in quarantine... just in time for Mother's day! :)

My I told you so moment... I told them that I’m not supposed to be doing anything that requires PE, but my teacher said “stop being dramatic, go on and run 3 laps!” So I listened to her because I didn’t like that she yelled at me, and I thought she might give me a little slap on my hand I had only ran 1 lap and I went back to to my teacher and said “I’m really tired, and my leg is starting to get sore” Guess what what she said(and did) “I already told you, stop being dramatic and run! You can take a break after running your 2nd lap, now go! (She shoved me a little and I started running again) I took a quick rest to catch my breath and my teacher said “that’s it! Go on, Don’t stop!” I passed out on the grass and I was pale, I woke up in the ER with my dad starting at me and my mom, my teacher, and my principal outside the hospital room I can’t clearly remember what my mom said but I do remember her shouting and my teacher crying A day later I was still in the hospital because they had kept me overnight and they a took few little tube things of my blood(with those stupid butterfly needles) My dad and my big brother visited me in the hospital and brought some stuff my classmates had made for me(some of them were construction paper, crayons, teddy bears, and candy cane flavored marshmallows) I wrote back to my teacher with the construction paper and said I TOLD YOU SO, MISS(insert name) This is long omg X-X

I'm also allergic to store bought ranch dressing (I can eat it if its homemeade) and raw flour. However I can eat any of the things I'm allergic to if they're cooked (steamed carrots, banana bread, etc.).

1:39 oh my goodness that’s almost what happened to ME! I was like 15 months old and I had a fever that wouldn’t go away and I just wouldn’t stop crying. Doctor kept telling my parents I had the flu and to giv me Tylenol, but after being sent off with that excuse TWICE and seeing that Tylenol wasn’t working they took me to the hospital. It turned out I actually has severe pyelonephritis. I was hospitalized for nearly 2 weeks. I’m pretty sure my parents changed my doctor after that.

When I was a newborn I would start violently coughing or turn blue and pass out. My mom took me to my pediatrician and he told her I was just coughing up fluids from birth and it was normal and would go away on it’s own or something to that nature. I wasn’t eating well and when ever I ate I would usually choke or throw it up. My mom decided that doctor was stupid and went to get a second opinion. The next doctor she went to said he had no idea what it could be and sent my mom to a better hospital where they might know. Turns out I had a double aortic arch which is basically a non-genetic birth defect. My aorta basically formed with extra cells and made a ring around my trachea and esophagus and was suffocating me. I had surgery at two months old to fix it and after some complications later in life I had to get surgery for it again when I was 11. I’m so glad my mom didn’t take that first doctors advice and went for a second opinion my mom knew that there was definitely something wrong and I so thankful for that.

I used to take this medication for my anxiety. Last November, a week before thanksgiving I was warning my family that the meds were making it hard to breathe (note I also have asthma) and they just convinced me to take an inhaler. Welp one day the inhaler wasn’t enough and I was literally taking these small little gasps to breathe. I remember getting so tired in the car ride to the ER and was on the verge of passing out. Turns out I was very allergic to the meds and went into anaphylactic shock. I had to be admitted for the rest of the month. Was told by doctors if I had come any later I would be dead. That fucked with my head for a while but I got to say I told you so-

My "I told you so" moment may sound weird. Whenever I go to Ikea, I always get abdominal migraines. Like literally five steps into the huge building I get extreme pain. My community college had to go to Ikea for social experience and I warned my teacher that Ikea always makes me sick. Kyutie, read/heart this comment. My mom actually did the 'you're lying' thing to me too. I felt so ill one morning that I couldn't stay awake for more than five minutes. However, my mom said I wasn't sick, so I had no other choice but to believe her. I fell asleep on the bus to school that day, and then I almost passed out in gym. I kept waking my up and going strong. In the second to last class, I was feeling pretty proud of myself for making it through the day, but then I fell asleep. My friend nudged me awake (she didn't know I was ill) and I just puked. I puked all over my pencil bag and my notebook. I knew I messed up because everybody was just staring at me, disgusted. I ran out of the room, and then cry-called my mother to come pick me up. I also cried myself to sleep that night, and almost couldn't go back to school over the guilt. I probably threw up at least 20 times that whole night and was told I had "To much junk food," this was the night I learned Santa wasn't real lol after that I started paying attention to when I start feeling sick at meals like that and I noticed all the times everyone had told me I "Ate to much" or "Had to much junk food" it was actually because I get sick from just the SMELL of rich food. I have no idea why since I have no allergies but for some reason rich food makes me sick.

I had one of these situations befor,... When I was a child (like, really young) I used to take deep breaths, but was never able to let my breath out, so my mom took me to the doctor, and sense my mom liked to make me look like a cute doll or look like so kind of petty childminder the doctor said that I was just being an annoying kid or that I was overreacting and just being petty and stuff, and that my mom had to use more furs with me, she started swearing that she never treated me like a spoiled or a bratty child, and then I took a deep breath and couldn't let it out, the doctor started yalling at me so I let my breath out, but that just made me scared and made the situation worse, and he even got so mad he flipped or kicked the table, and then he believed my mom for what she said... for some reason I don't know how to breath from my nose and I just stop breathing when I try so I breath from my mouth all the time (not sure if the last part had somthing to do with the story but I liked to mention it, + I was too young to remember the full story so I asked my mom about it, and she told me the rest of the story)....(this is not the only long story I have from my life...just wanted to mention it, too...) Ok have a nice day or evening or afternoon, bye

This actually happened last year, went to the nurse's office because I felt like I was going to pass out and throw up at the same time. I had recently been to the doctor's because I had been sick for over the past month. After I arrived I was nervously laughing because I was genuinely worried because I had never felt like that in my life and she tried to tell me I was faking it. I ended up laying down because she wouldn't allow me to go home. After laying down she asked me if I felt better and I said no so she called my mom to pick me up. After my mom had mentioned she already expected this because I had been to the doctor's that week she was like " oh frick, she wasn't lying" and her mood def changed. In the end, we found out the medicine that had been prescribed to me was WAY too strong and I ended up staying sick for like two more months and got the flu -_-.

This is my mom's I told you moment. When my mom had my older sister (second born) a few months later she kept crying constantly, my mom thought something was wrong with her, my mom's feeling grew worse when she changed her one day and there was blood, but her doctor told her that she was fine, eventually my mom bought a medical book with a bunch of diagnosis in it and narrowed it down to my sister having a hernia, the doctor kept telling my mom she was over exaggerating and my sister was fine another doctor walked by and asked what was going on, my mom explained everything to him and he agreed with my mom, it was eventually discovered that my sister did indeed have a hernia and had to go into immediate surgery, the other doctor said if my mom had listened to the doctor my sister would have probably died. Needless to say they never went back to that doctor again and idk if anything happened to him, but I hope he got in some type of trouble for not at least checking to be 100% sure that she was fine.

My sister wanted to go further, near the actual creek that was 1 foot deep of ice water. Kathy thought that she'd be able to stop her sled just before the creek, but I told her that she'd fall in. But of course, since she's older than me, she didn't listen, and sled right into the water. She came out covered in icy water, FREEZING! We had a block and a half to walk home, and I felt that she wouldn't make it, so I went to the nearest house to ask the lady if we could call our parents and she said yes!

Another "I told you so" moment happened when I had to get a shot. We were leaving after my shot and in the waiting room I told my mom I felt weird and couldn't see. Once again, my mom says I'm fine (she thought I was overreacting). Well fast forward about 30 seconds and I collapse onto the floor. Next thing I know I'm waking up back in the doctors room with a cold towel on my forehead. I fainted. I still faint almost every time I get a shot.
