I really think different types of honks should be put in cars: 1. A little "Beep boop" button to just let people know you're there if they are crossing the road. 2. A little friendly road runner mmeee meep button to let people know when the light is green. 3. and then a full blaring train horn for emergencies (of course keep the main one as well on the steering wheel)

I was in a car with a man who, now I realize, had been grooming me. (I was 11 yo). He wanted to take me to breakfast so he picked me up. He stopped on the side of a dirt road and started kissing me. I was terrified. Then I remembered, this guy let's me drive if I ask. So I asked to drive. I was surprised when he said yes. I drove as fast as I could back to an area I recognize. I stopped, got out and ran home. For the life of me I'll never understand why my bio mom didn't recognize I was being groomed.

My "I'm in danger" story: My mom and I had just bought a new vase. We thought it looked beautiful. We were having guests over, and thought the vase would really impress them. We put the vase in front of the house where the guests would see the vase immediately. Mom was texting her friends (the guests) about the beautiful vase, and they were all excited to see it. Once it was 4:36 pm, the guests arrived. We went in the house. I expected everyone to start "wowing" or "awing" but that didn't happen. I checked to see why, and I noticed the vase wasn't where I left it. "I don't get it, you said the vase would be here," said one of the guests. Mom looked at me mad. "Sweetie, you said that you put the vase here, so where is it?!" mom asked. I told her, "I did put it there, you moved it!" Another guest then spoke up. "Oh, there it is!" Mom and I looked up to find the vase right where I had left it. "Wasn't it just missing?" a guest asked. This tore began with a big conversation. I looked once more and the vase was missing again. But we just saw it there! I started getting this "I'm in danger" gut feeling, and I didn't know why. I looked around for the vase in the house, and soon found it in the hallway. I went to grab it, but then it vanished right in front of my eyes. I looked behind me and saw it again. Then, it keep teleporting. My mom kept shouting at me far away, telling me to put the vase back. One minute later, the vase disappeared and I couldn't find it. I heard a scream from my bedroom, and my mom and her friends were staring at the vase, deadly. "No way, it just teleported in here!" everyone kept saying. Mom looked at me, waiting for me to tell her it was just a prank, but no words came out my mouth. All the guests left early, and mom sold the house. She then bought a new one. A few months later, someone bought the house. My gut feeling was right, because then the people went missing. The vase had a note inside, saying that it was never caught even once, even though it kept teleporting in front of people. And sometimes when I walk pass a dumpster, I notice that same vase.

I just started a new job recently and I work nights and by the time I get out of work which is downtown there are always crazy loud people on the street, tonight when I got out of work my boyfriend was a little late picking me up and a few feet away from me I heard a group of guys yelling and my mind instantly went into panic mode. I hate to say it because I know that not all men are bad but as a woman especially when I'm alone I become a bit scared of large groups of men especially if they are being loud or creepily standing too close to me

Hi I have a story which I wanna share . Note : None of the names mentioned are real. So this happened when I was in 4th grade . So I was a pretty happy but naive girl at that time . I had a best friend named Lucy . Our school annual day was coming closer and we went to two auditions of dance . On the first one we didn't get selected but on the second one we both got selected . It was the main dance so we were happy . Then I met a couple of girls who I became friends with . One them was Mary . Those days me , Lucy and Mary used to hangouts a lot . Then we saw this girl . She was yelling at one of my other friends . She was a dancer in annual day too . Her name was Sarah . She was crazy . She was yelling on people for no reason . She was very bossy . One day she asked us if we wanna be her friends . Mary did not want to be friends with her . Lucy didn't say anything but I could tell from her face that she didnt want to be friends with her. But I convinced the whole group to give her a chance . Also she didn't have any friends . So we asked her if she wants to come to hangout with us . She said yes . But when I got to know her I didn't like her . She literally changed the whole schedule of time to hangout . Mary wasn't happy . So we told Sarah that we have changed our mind as nice as we could . Sarah raged with anger . Next day we didn't ask her to hangout . She looked like she wanted to kill us . I was blaming myself for all of this . I made some more friends like Sophia and Natalia . Sophia had a best friend named Amanda . We thought Amanda was helping us but she was actually not . Sarah somehow managed to be friends with her . Sarah didn't know about Natalia so Natalia went to her team just to know how many secret friends she have . She didn't succeed which I don't blame her for . This whole thing ended up making me and Lucy Sarah's enemies . I did learn one thing from all this . Not to be so naive . This had never happened to me before and also I don't know if this helped me in anything else .

the only thing i can think of where i thought i was in danger was when i went to a different town to look at colleges and i was taking a shortcut down an alleyway, and these two guys came walking towards me, then they split so they were both on either side of me. luckily nothing happened, and i hate prejudging people but for a minute there my heart definitely did stop and i thought holy shit im gonna get mugged or killed. life lesson- dont walk down strange alleyways in towns you dont know very well
