It feels strange that The Viall Files covers pop culture, regular culture, and more, but completely avoids politics. I get not wanting to focus on politics, but to never touch on it at all feels disingenuous. Giggly Squad navigates this well, IMO. Nick's effort to steer conversations away from any political topics often feels awkward and forced. It’s natural to make general comments when certain issues arise, and avoiding them completely just makes the hosts seem kind of spineless.
