I hear you. Comfort eating is addictive and hard to stop. Perhaps start taking strolls in the morning and increase the length of time after a while. Me Bye That’s understandable. The things that you’re holding inside, you might want to speak to someone about it like a cousin you trust and try swapping some of the comfort snacks for delicious healthy stuff like: mangoes, berries, carrots...the sweet stuff and you might find yourself starting to cut back 😉. Sleep and reading is a great way to cut back on comfort eating. The book is like an adventure away and sleep...well you’re not eating then 👍🏾 The cold is horrid. I don’t blame you for staying in the warmth

I was born with a certain condition where hair is covering my entire body except my face, and it doesn’t go away, no matter how many doctors I go to they can’t tell me what the problem is. I had leukemia (finished treatment and i'm cancer free now)...but ever since I finished treatment in 2016 I've been having suicidal thoughts, which makes me feel horrible because I've already put my doctors and friends and family through so much already and it feels like they wasted their efforts on me. I recommend getting someone to talk to, a therapist for example. I'm terrified of cancer and you've gone through quite much. I've read that it's quite common to feel like life has no purpose after recovering from cancer. I don't have personal experience but I'm trying to help.

I haven't been through the same, but I've had 2 spinal tumors. I have the same feelings. I wish I would have just never gotten treatment. I don't know if it has to do with the fact it seemed like that's when people gave the most care to me or if it's just some weird thing. See a therapist because they can help and I promise it may take time but they will. I miss being in the hospital. I miss being injured which is weird but maybe it's not idk

My secret is: even though my girlfriend is still here and didn't go through with her suicide attempt in January 2020, she hasn't been the same since. I know that those things damage and change you but she's not the same. I don't believe her when she says she fine and I don't hate her for not opening up about her problems but I just wish she would so that this stress could be lifted off of me. I feel the same way! I spoke with my doctor, and he said I have conditional depression. Acknowledging that I have this condition is the first step. I've spent more time resting, more time relaxing, more time focusing on my body, self esteem, relationships, and overall mental health. Some days are much better than others, but I'm trying my best and hoping to get out of feeling this way. If it helps, know that many others feel the same way - you're not alone.
