Unbound looks to be getting pretty much the same treatment too & so I refuse to get it unless at a heavy discount. Online & balance problems also means online play isn't really fun since people just go for the few broken cars anyway. So for something I'd mostly only play single player for, figure might as well wait & see the kind of support it gets, and get it for much cheaper.

This Game was one of my favourites for a while. I enjoyed the story and running from the cops as well as the extensive customization options. Crossplay made it so I could play with friends on different consoles as well. Its super unfortunate that they didn't update it anymore. I hope they change their mind and come back to it because it has some real potential to be a top tier game. P.S. Love that they added air suspension

I’ve met people, myself included, who have been playing this game nonstop since the summer of 2020. I even went as far as to form my own crew where we strictly do night races because of how fun the gameplay loop is for that part of the game. Customization is by far the best at the moment and I’ve spent countless hours building cars with my own custom wraps to really stand out on the racing grid. The lack of support definitely killed this game’s potential but it doesn’t stop me from enjoying 85% of the content that’s already in there to begin with.

they couldn't after release like after 6 months if i recall correctly, ghost games got kicked off to do anything about heat and they marked off as dead game by EA for some reason. Game still survives and is still enjoyable to this day. I may not get attached for as long as to MW2005 but i like to go to Heat run around for 3h do for like 1.5h races 1h of finding collectibles/drift zones etc. and half hour to mess around with police. THIS is actually what made me stick to Heat and not to FH5 (whilst i still find FH4 more enjoyable than 5 but still heat >>>)

It still breaks my heart what ghost was put through by the playerbase even more than EA, they tried to listen to feedback that only screeched garbage asking for an oldschool arcade game, they delivered a game that felt like an older arcade cabinet game, exactly what people asked but barely got a chance because it wasn't underground or most wanted. NFS "fans" need to grow up and realize underground and most wanted wasn't oldschool arcade, it was lightning in a bottle, a transition to more simcade games caught up in the perfect zeitgest, full stop.

I loved this game. I have every race muscle memorized. There was a time when I would join random lobbies challenging everyone to any race just so I could bully people. It was very rare I could find people on the same skill level I was at and when I did, those were the most fun times. Being neck and neck with someone the whole time really was a blast. Heat has got to be one of my most favorite racing games including Forza, the only thing Im not a fan of is the arcade-like driving physics and small map. Heat is has alot of attention to detail when it comes to customization like Forza is when it comes to custom tuning the way a car drives in the game. Heat might have a lackluster story (atleast for me). But what makes me keep playing it is that it reminds me so much of MW 2005, but better (yes I said it, Heat is better than MW 2005, fight me.) The progression system is so unique and interesting because it's high risk high reward. And you don't have to rely on the Story to level up, I love the concept of playing safe and earning money on Day races and being risky earning rep on Night races. Oh and I wouldn't forget the unique sountrack the game has, there's a playlist when you're in the garage, there's a different playlist in Day free roam and Day races, same with Night free roam and Night races. The cops are challenging as well which suprised me on my first gameplay, you really have to outrun them as much as possible but proves difficult becauss they really catch up to you.

Its not a simulation, but its fun and the progression is there, if grindy. The numbers dont even make sense so at least its easy. For some reason the main feature, gas drifting, bugs out half the time and doesnt work. Cops also spawn invisible in your path as your racing. Saw it for 14 then got it for free on psn so im happy. It's just fun to go fast and customize your car.

The fact the game has an E30 and cars like That old GTI, etc. combined with awesome customization makes it nearly a banger. Somehow i didnt like the map to cruise around, but sure thats what TDU and other games i there for. Imagine a game, you start with a Golf/E36 or a A3 8L, having all classics, even Astra F/G, Ford Escort and all these. Man, bring me in the 90‘s please.

I downloaded the deluxe edition 6 days ago (December 24th) because it was on sale for only $6. I reached lvl 50 within the first two days and as of right now I have $112 million in the bank. Ran out of things to do very quickly but I enjoy the customization aspect of the game. Mainly the paint and creating wraps. The body customization is boring, just the same old stuff. With wraps, there’s an endless amount of possible creations.

It doesn't really have for say a cockpit view it's more of the windscreen or windshield view but the manual shifting actually did get re-engineered on this and it's perfect I played it on my wheel a couple times and it felt a amazing

Well by my standard this is game is beyond new. Back in the day, when I played like up to 5 francises, I was eagerly waiting for the yearly installment, but now, know like 95% of the gaming world, whenever some company pushed the sequal under 5 years I'm like "Looolll what's the hurry, I still haven't gotten to the previous one".

I bought this game like 2-3 weeks before and im in love with it. You can buy your dream car and make it better also there's so many cars in the game to choose and build. the map is also good and it's fun to play with your friends

I bought this on launch and for some reason just found the map to be empty.. there is also about 10 songs on repeat..a few extra at night… Just couldn’t get myself into it unfortunately! 2019 NFS was great

Honestly the main reason i still olay Heat, aside from the customization, is the fact i cannot stand all the colourful graphics in Unbound. Like, i dont wanna see a pair of crudely drawn wings whenever i do a jump

This game isn’t bad at all, I dare say it’s the best modern NFS, it’s a shame it was just abandoned by the devs just like the other ones, they need to make a F2P open world NFS, not only would it be profitable for the devs, it would circulate a healthy player base, allow content to be added regularly, etc…

Honestly had lots of fun with NFS Heat for about a year straight, didn't play a single thing beside it. Built up almost every car on the game, did insane engine swaps to every car & customization that still is unmatched too most racing games I've play till this day. Sadly just deleted it last week because was taking up space on hardrive & hadn't opened it in months. Unfortunately got stagnant & boring to me. It's a shame they stopped doing updates & didn't keep game alive like NFS Payback was for awhile with weekly car hunts. I've personally been back on The Crew 2 for about 3-4 months now grinding races & getting more invested into how game works, it's actually a blast once get use to pro tuning cars & doing live summits. Plus a large array of map to drive & updates almost weekly. Truly hoping NFS franchise goes in different direction far as arcade feeling games. I know that's they're style but with customization options they've always introduced think it could also be a top notch simulation racing game or a mashup & best of both worlds for any kind of racer.
