Personally, it seems like that entire department might be a lost cause. Instead of realizing that Koki might have been the reason all their chores were getting done, they immediately went with fairies and monsters as the cause.

As soon as I saw that one coworker talk about fairies I was like, "🤔...Really?" Then when they thought that a monster was running amok, "😑...These are fully functioning adults and they're entertaining these thoughts...?" But the biggest kicker for me was when Koki was handling tasks outside his department, namely janitor duties. "😣Screw his main department! If this man is the linchpin that hold this entire papier-mache of a company together, let it crumple and collapse!"

Employees: HE’S NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!! I bet if the monster comes looking for him they’d give him up without a second thought 😂
@sparda74
@sparda74 Жыл бұрын
That...would make for a great metaphorical story. Employee deemed useless by his coworkers is secretly integral to keep the company functioning. When a technical error made by a coworker is revealed, the boss who they call 'The Beast' wants to know who's responsible. Without a second thought, the coworkers sacrifice the 'useless' employee to appease The Beast. What the coworkers didn't know that the employee wasn't fired, he was transferred to another company. As it turns out, The Beast's company was in danger of being bought out by a rival company and the technical error that was made could have increased the company's value and kill the buyout. Already aware of the sacrificed employee's value, The Beast offered him because of the value he would bring to the rival company. In the the coming months, The Beast's words proved prophetic as the Useful employee maximized productivity across all departments, making his new coworkers wonder why his old company gave him away. Conversely, departments within The Beast's company are falling apart as the linchpin that held everything together is now gone. Seeing The Beast's struggle, the rival company proposes a merge between their companies. In doing so, the coworkers who sacrificed the so-called employees are purged. And the best part, they still don't know why everything went wrong when they sacrificed the useful employee. They just think they were cursed.

At first I thought the monster was a metaphor for disasters happening in Koki's absence, but no, they really thought there was a monster lmao, and the crows didn't help that either. I loved how Koki was so nonchalant about everything after his return, as if all he's done is normal, though I suppose it would be for him. I just found everything that happened in Koki's leave so hilarious, especially him snoozing after seeing all the disasters in the office. Koki is probably my favorite take on the incompetent competent character, one of my favorite MMC's. I do believe Koki should have transferred, especially after hearing other departmenta knowing his worth when his own couldn't even fathom him being the glue that holds them together, but being the kind hearted soul he is, he stayed. I loved the romantic implications at the end, really cute, top tier story

Hey guys! I'm the Male VA for this video. Thanks so much for watching! Sometimes, it can appear that a person isn't pulling their weight, but their real work is being done when no one's watching. Once these guys realized what Abe was doing for them, they understood how important he really was, and knew they couldn't let him go, especially when other departments were chomping at the bit to take him from them. I suspect he'll be moving up the ladder before long. Shout-out to my Co-Star, Rebecca Danae (RibzVA) for her part in this story. She did another incredible job here as well. Laters!

That startup issue reminds me of a certain period at work. Three of us were issued work CELERON PCs and you can only imagine how slow the start-up was and our time-in/out depends on when will the start-up complete. Me and someone else takes time to go to work early accounting for the time we'll finally be able to time in. Now this other one is "smart" by just time-in in the work PC assigned to ME so that he doesn't need to come as early as us. He was one of the few nightmares I have during those days. Similar situation happened to me while I was a manager at a restaurant in my city. I took care of all the cleaning and order for inventory and numbers. I left because the owners never appreciate the hard work I did and didn’t get a raise for a year. The first week I left my old staff member told me the restaurant had to close due to health department concerns. The owners also swore at the staff for minor mistakes. From what I hear they have an extremely high turn over rate (which wasn’t a thing while I was managing) and the dishes have drastically dipped down. Well, all the staff in the general affairs departiment should be fired... it seems that besides being arrogant, nobody really knows their job. And the office manager demoted to normal office work as he never seems to have had the slightest idea of how things were being run. And our protagonist should also have some sanctions. Instead of reporting the various problems found (so that they could be fixed) he preferred to cover the various people. An example: The cleaners are paid to do what they don't do and no one notices it because the protagonist covers for them (and maybe even gets him paid overtime to do it). This in a company is a dangerous attitude because it can create problems in the future. It's okay to cover up for a co-worker once in a while, but if that becomes everyday life it's a big deal.

Seriously, everyone in that department should have a third of their salaries slashed and given to Abe, the poor bastard was doing the work for everyone. Or fired, and real competent workers replace them.

Because he's the hero the General Affair Department deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, we'll shunt him, because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector... the Yin-Yang Employee.

They didn't know that Koki is their WILDCARD who takes care of everything until he was hospitalized. thinking he was useless until CHAOS ensued in the entire office, now they realized how valuable he is, the lesson is never underestimate the person and the value he has for the company and not to take him for granted, they almost lost him. Now everybody at the office are now working thinks to him, Koki should get a promotion and a bonus raise for his hard work..
