Top 5 movies all time for me. Best movie of 1994. Shau’ri was just absolutely lovely here. Firm yet innocent and just a delicious beauty. Dr Jackson was amazing as was ONeill and others. The fact it continued on with 17 seasons and 2 movies and 1 silly web series was amazing. Shame they killed this over a decade ago. Fools.

Even though the thumbnail image was very misleading (I thought it was going to be something I hadn't seen already), this image made you think it was going to be something else. I loved the movie Stargate, after falling in love with the TV series Stargate SG1. I saw the movie first and liked it, but wasn't jumping out of my seat when I first saw it at the show. I saw the TV series and was hooked instantly. But I was very irritated by this video messing up the name of my favorite character "Jack O'Neill". I never watched Mcgiver and thought I wouldn't like Richard Dean Anderson in this part, but he killed it.

the problem with outer space and intergalactic constellation symbols is that they are 3 dimensional and would not look the same from any other angle other than earth. ie. Orion from out side of our universe may not look like 3 in a row or the dippers may not be that shape at all etc

The spin off tv series expands on this by having radio transmissions be two way through the portal while physical travel isn't possible. It also wasn't another galaxy but another planet within the milky way, the hiccup is that the constellations address system had to have been devised on earth since viewed from anywhere else they'd be different.
