You missed one that was part of Valkyrie. They planted a bomb on Hitler's plane, but unfortunately the fuse malfunctioned and the plane landed safely (with no one aware of the danger). This led to excess caution when the second attempt was made (in terms of calling up the reserve army), and was partly why it failed.

You missed a few. There was the plot with the exploding wine bottles on the plane, that didn’t go off. And the one where a soldier who was supposed to model a new uniform for Hitler filled his pockets with grenades, and was going to grab Hitler and set them off. But Hitler cancelled the showing due to a cold. Both related in Shirer’s Rise And Fall Of The Third Reich.

By around 1943, the Allies stopped all plans they were considering, having determined that if he was replaced, it would be with someone who could make decent military decisions. They determined that he was a bigger hinderence to Germany than he was a threat to them.

They most likely would have surrendered to the Allies before the Russians got there. The only reason they didn't fight to complete oblivion was because he offed himself. Germany had this (what we would consider weird) Fuhrer oath going on which meant they obeyed him no matter what. I do wonder if the MAGA crowd will follow Trump as readily.

So I've heard something similar aswell, apparently by that point in the war his doctor was experimenting with all sorts of drugs to solve Hitlers bad health, supposedly this combination of drugs could have severely mentally impaired him, not just making him unstable but potentially very suggestible with less of a grasp on reality It's a fascinating take on the last few years of his life and there's some great documentaries out there about his doctor too
@sthrich635

That is just a big misunderstanding on Germany's WW2 command situation and plain applying Hollywood plot in its politics. More than half of top German generals and field marshal like Rundstedt already gave up and prefer surrendering, while those that kept on fighting do so out of loyalty and obedience to Hitler's orders. Other top party leaders were in no shape to act on military command by 1944 - Goring was mostly on vacation and later busy stashing his stolen treasure, Himmler was planning to secure peace deal then after realizing it being unrealistic he tried to ditch Germany and escape, Speer also had little desire to fight on, perhaps only Goebbels did but big talking and propaganda was literally the only thing he knew. So no, there is no such "someone who could make decent military decisions" to replace Hitler. His continued military command and refusal to give up contribute a heavy cost to all the Allied armies. The actual major reasons the Allies stopped these assassination plans were to prevent a martyr for German population and also no Allied leader would like targeting recognized head of state become a too common tactic.

This video gave me the weirdest dream. I was in an air fleet that had been captured and forced to work on some kind thingy with a big ass door. Fell in love with one of the ss secretaries, and found out that the lowest ranking officers and captives were to be disposed of once the project was completed to ensure secrecy. We concocted a plan to ensure our survival. I finished the thing, and when he came to look at it I started chomping his throat out. He was forced to come alone with no guards because it was a really tiny place that was top secret. Terrible planning on his part. OUCH. My teeth were still bad even in my dreams. So I drank his blood and became a vampire. So yeah. That was one fucking insane dream. I forget what bs excuse we made up to explain what happened, but apparently it was good enough for the rest of the SS to buy it no questions asked.

The phonecall to Ukraine was a "perfect phonecall" and he didn't try to use his presidential powers against his political opponent. He was convicted of fraud for opening a fraudulent university before he ever entered politics because of a time travelling Joe Biden. And he secretly won in 2020 because Hugo Chavez hacked the Dominion voting machines from the afterlife. Or Trump is just a huge liar who will say absolutely anything bad said about him is a lie. One or the other. I mean, seriously, at some point you have to start asking yourself how much evidence you can get that a guy is an awful, wannabe dictator and still reasonably believe anything else. It's not just one guy who once said a bad thing about him. In that case it WOULD be reasonable to doubt the claim. But it's legions of people giving testimonies like this, court cases, and his own words and actions.

Gotta love all the people complaining about the timing of this video, both men ran on the same messages, they just don't want to admit that their vote in 2024 would be the exact same if they voted in Germany in 1933.

Actually quite a number of us would have voted for *Tito.* You should look into how many "Bernouts" have been pushing for him for a solid 8 years. 😘 _And now he may even have Cenk and Hasan soon!_ Even my Vtuber oshi gumpai hopped on the train, after voting Howie Hawkins in 2020. _The Great Unifier has risen at last!_

Who the fuc* is general George Manstein mentioned at 10:20?? The picture is of the, in my opinion, greatest WW2 German commander Erich Von Manstein. The name is sort of similar but George Manstein doesn't exist, at least at that time and place and connected to this event.
