We get upset because everyone advertises the Secret Menu as if it were officially licensed by Starbucks and its not! There are so many sites and they just compile customized orders people submit to them and give them fancy names. So if you come in asking for a Peach Ring Tea I'm obviously am going to tell you no such drink exist on our menu and yes I may get annoyed when you start to argue with me and proclaim it's real because its on the Secret Menu and that we should know it. If you want something from those sites we'll make it, just know what size you want and what goes into it and we'll gladly make it if we're able too. (Some of those drinks ask for product that's seasonal or discontinued, so understand that as well) And be prepared for the extra charges~

I worked at noodles & company and like the name states noodles mainly noodle dishes. I had a person order an egg bacon and sausage which I was then like that is not on our menu. Turns out the chick was trying to get away with not paying for much. Those items cost about a dollar on the regular bowl. She was trying to get a full bowl, then proceeded to keep coming back up to the counter to replace it. Which our policies allow, cause the customer is always right.

I work at a Starbucks customers ask "can I order a fruity pebbles trap" or a "Ariana grande frappuccino ". I'm like I have no idea what that is. They get pissed and say it's a secret menu item. Secret menus drinks don't exist, they are just modifications on drinks, but if they know what goes in it we will be happy to charge you. It's like we have a phone handy to look up what goes into.

As an actual coffee drinker, I quite like the different roasts of beans they have for sale on the shelves, as long as I brew it at home with a pour-over or french-press. It's not any higher or lower quality than most coffees on the shelves in grocery stores, but they have an efficient labeling system so you know what you're getting, which I like.

Most people that love Starbucks don't love it for their plain old coffee. It's the fancy stuff, or not even coffee at all. I personally never buy coffee, I get a frap or one of their tea drinks.

I work in a coffee shop and we get free stuff and we enjoy inventing things and I made carbonated iced tea and it was good but the sugar crystals didn't dissolve very well

Yeah, when I worked at a fast food place in high school, each worker created their own burger and we would have little tasting parties where we would all try them out once a week or so. Luckily our manager was a stoner who was always down for that sort of thing.

Working in food/beverage service can be really fun! I used to work at a restaurant and really enjoyed playing with ingredients to make the same foods taste different. I liked letting customers know of good recipes I'd tried as well. I love that it's a small highlight of working in a field that can be really tough sometimes.

The best thing to order that isn't super complicated (but is VERRRY sweet, but if you're into that, it's delicious) is get either a vanilla bean cream frap, a java chip frap, or a double chocolate chip frap and add 2 pumps of raspberry syrup. IT'S REALLY GOOD AND IT MAKES THE VANILLA BEAN ONE PINK
