We love Don Goyo very much and his spirit speaks with the tempers he tells them the day he will erupt. Our people our ancestors had a spiritual energetic ecological connection with the volcano and its surroundings every May 12 is brought offering in respect to ask for mercy for the inhabitants they know much more about the volcano than all of us

But also dangerous if the crater is covered due to its potential. It has daily activity, now cover the crater for months or years and keep all the energy that was supposed to be released daily. It would result in a catastrophic eruption.
