Lebanese army is easier for the US to control, and hence it makes it easier for Israel. However, more than that, it is weak and cannot fight Israel when they are fighting in that same cruel manner. What is worse is that hezbollah is still targeting strategically against military and leaders, while Israel is mostly targeting civilians and aid workers under the label of hezbollah even after it being extremely clear that they are aiming like so instead, even facing multiple warnings (but no consequence) for killing aid workers intentionally. Even worse is the situation and clear is the intent when seeing statistics. Israel just wants the freedom to attack Lebanon under the label of hezbollah without them having to prove their labeling, while giving Lebanon no say in the matter, and no right to retaliate, making it a surrender essentially. Nothing…. Literally nothing that Israel has done has been the right thing, not even when they attacked their own civilians to incite matters under the names of others.

Heza had an 10/7 plan with large arms depots on the border and tunnels leading into Israel. This is one reason why the UN peace keepers were worthless. They allowed vast military improvements in a safe zone. Exactly what peace were they keeping? They seem to be shields for Heza forces.
