We will do. When you travel with a pace like we do, and go by other travellers we meet on the roads' recommendations (as opposed to following a travel guide book or whatever) then there are always surprises and challenges. But I feel we uncover the reality of the places we visit from a vanlife/traveller perspective, as opposed to something else. We love the adventure anyway, it gets us out of bed in the morning 🧡🙏

Dehydration remedy universally . 1 pint water 1 Tspn sugar, 1 Tspn salt and drink it all . This has saved lives. Love exploring with you two

This is absolutely correct!!!!!! So much more than liquid is lost through dehydration. Saline and glucose is useful as a primary remedy. Well done you👍. So many people don't recognise the danger in dehydration.👏👏👏👏

I did the NC500 (before that was a "thing") 15 or so years ago and I cannot explain how called back to it I feel. Corsica looks absolutely gorgeous. It does remind me more of Italy than France for sure. That veggie pizza looked delicious. Have fun in the mountains but take care as the weather near the summit of any mountain can change at the drop of a hat and become dangerous particularly visibility wise. I am now off to research what is the tallest mountain in Corsica out of curiousity 😁

Wonderful video. Loving Corsica! How very beautiful! Top tip - rehydration salts - always handy to keep some packets for a dodgey tummy and for when you're dehydrated. It's the loss of, then lack of salts that can cause problems.

There is a ferry which goes from the south of Italy (Bari) to Greece. And then many ferries that travel to the Greek islands. Would be a great adventure if Janine loves boats :)

I think you can even get a ferry from Greece right down to Cyprus. It's amazing in Cyprus especially as it is part of the commonwealth

@@mandyb5954 Yeah, I think you can during the summer months. Cyprus drives on the same side of the road as the UK too. Geographically the middle east and is the only country that has a capital city with a border going through it!

Corsica with a camper van? Good luck!!!😅😅😅Be careful, do not park overnight anywhere or ask permission from residents, they don't like vanslivers very much. I recommend 2 Corsican specialties to taste: “Figatellu” is a sausage to cook on the barbecue with Corsican bread and “Pietra” is the official beer of Corsica. Also be careful, the coastal roads are narrow, the mirrors sometimes don't survive...😄

I hope your feeling better Janine I collapsed back in 2018 and was told my blood pressure had dropped dangerously low which they informed me at the drs was partly due to dehydration, my problem is I am so bad at drinking water but I am trying to get better for the sake of my health. When my son was younger, my sister and I would take him camping and he would sleep in the SUV. He is a late sleeper and the vehicle would get hot before he got up. I had netting which I cut to the shape of each window and then affixed it to the outside with flat round MAGNETS (from Dollarama). He was able to have the windows unrolled for ventilation and not get any spiders, wasps, or any other insect inside.

Another fabulous episode. ❤️ Corsica looks gorgeous. You can drink too much water and get dehydrated as you can wash all your salts and sugars out. Try a flat lemonade or just add a tiny bit of salt and sugar in a glass of water. A lady in Egypt told me that, and it has always worked. 🤗 Your one pot looked really good, a handy tip for a quick meal even if you aren’t camping 😋 Mozzies are the bane of my life too. I’ve tried so many remedies. I need to look out for the gizmo . I hope the storm doesn’t last too long. Looking forward to the next instalment already. 🎉 Stay safe and happy travels xx

The very best thing for mosquitoes is a fan. They will not fly into the current and it literally blows them away and it might cool you down maybe a solar fan or plug on in to your solar generator.
