Although my rendition resembles Frank Sinatra's version, the woman dancing and standing close by me shouts 'LIZA MINNELLI" at 1:07. This song was originally covered and performed by Minnelli in the 1977 film New York, New York. It wouldn't be until 1980 when Frank Sinatra's cover of the song would be released, after having recorded his version in 1979.
