Actually the comment or fact in the book stating that poor people are greedy is completely false. As the Executive Director of a nonprofit organization I can tell you that rich people are greedy and they donate the least money overall. It is those that have no business giving money away are the people that donate the most. And I have some friends that are directors of nonprofits and they have the same experience. Also, out of all the people that try to get something for nothing or try to scam my organization, it is the wealthy people not the average folk living paycheck to paycheck. So I’m not sure why the book’s author would believe that poor people are greedy, some of the greediest people I know are millionaires.

Yeah, I came down here to make sure that there was at least a comment on this. For the information seeker, I don't like to leave misinformation out there. If I can help it. For those who pass through the essence of the situation was a little old lady who ended up with third degree burns across her crotch and had to have forms of reconstructive surgery. She initially asked for just enough money to cover the medical bills. McDonald's offered a Paltry, insulting sum, and when it went to court the jury awarded the woman 10 times what she asked for.

The videos you make are pleasant to watch and often helpful. As for this book (which I realize you did not write): I'd rather be broke with my bills paid than have a pile of money and not paying what I'm obligated to pay. If someone sells me a product or service there is an automatic understanding that it will be in exchange for money. I would feel deceitful if I kept a pile of money while withholding what is due to others. I would not recommend this strategy to anyone. There is a lot of "chicken" in this book, but this is a bone I would spit out.

Your trying so hard to sound “self righteous” that You completely missed the entire point! 😆🤷🏽♂️… The underlying lesson of that story was not to dodge your bills, it was to force yourself to do what you are not doing (AKA think outside the box, get creative) or whatever else you have to do… to still pay those bills (as both the author and the video clearly showed). Most people who say they don’t have enough and are out of options, usually have countless options but either they are not thinking about it or unwilling to entertain such alternatives.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV Bible [1] Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2] By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV Bible [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. Romans 10:9-13 KJV Bible [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. [12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. [13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. John 3:16 KJV Bible For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 14:6 KJV Bible Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Missed most important lesson. If you're a senior citizen like Kiosaki and find yourself still hustling, you have done everything wrong. He will never be happy or satisfied. He will never be the richest, smartest, or influential. He will only die with regret. Very sad. Don't fall for the hustle culture lie.
@MrStratofish Жыл бұрын
The "Betty" example showcased that very well. They were newlyweds struggling with money who hired a bookkeeper to add even more expense then proceeded to tell her that her experience/advice was shit. Doing there own expenses would have saved them some money and spend a little less time stressing about side gigs. An interesting watch but he has fake guru vibes. The type of guru that just makes up or links loosely associated ideas together and leaves it up to other people to take the risk finding out if it actually works or not. If this is a direct example from the book I would bet on it being one of those fictional "this person ignored my advice and is now penniless" ego-stroking stories
@janejustin1788 Жыл бұрын
and you forgot that some people are passionate about what they do. Just because Robert Kiyosaki is still doing financial coaching doesn't mean he isn't satisfied or happy. What do you want him to be doing? Vacationing from Jan-Dec? Sit on the couch 24/7? That would be someone to death. People who stop doing anything in old age actually die faster because they feel they no longer have a purpose in life. "He will never be the richest, smartest, or influential." The world can only have one richest, influential, or smartest person at a time. And only a few people are in that category. Did he say he wanted to be the best in the world? That statement sounds more like a YOU problem and not Robert's. It seems that's what you define as success in this life!!

If you ask the people who live the lives most of us only dream of, these are the things they do. So you can watch, learn, and grow with them...or criticize and remain where you are...unless you have better advice which IS PROVEN to work where these don't...in that case do like he is doing and share.

You know there is an old saying where I come from that says: Well everyone thought you were smart… until you opened your mouth and started talking! 😆 Having valuable information condensed into a shorter story is nice… but forgetting that those with the valuable knowledge and experience, don’t actually owe you anything… Means that you should be willing to spend as much time as they will give you, listening to them and doing what they tell you to do! Your statements say much more about you than it does anything else! 1. Your attitude is toxic and likewise most of your life struggles and or shortcomings is directly linked to this truth. Until you learn to place a high value and respect on both the information/knowledge and time of others (especially those who you know are more successful than you and your hoping to get there help) you will not see much more personal improvement taking place in your life, no matter what you do… 2. Again your statement about not having enough time and or the mental capacity to spend 1-2 hours listening/learning from people who you know are very successful and have information that you actually desire but can’t or won’t focus long enough to get it… means you just informed everyone including yourself two of your biggest problems; Time Management and Self-Discipline (AKA the refusal to attack and improve your attention problem). If you keep doing what your doing; looking for “workarounds and or shortcuts to help you avoid getting these two issues resolved I promise you, there will be little to no improvement in your life and even if you do see some small improvements, it’s unlikely that you will be able to sustain it, long term

Passive doesn’t mean you can leave it alone and forget about it and expect it to keep making money. It means you don’t have to actively be doing something for the asset to make money. No matter what the passive income is, there’s always going to be some sort of maintenance to keep that asset efficient at making money.
