Story 1: I could be wrong, but I think the sandwich shop was a family business, that's why the manager always blamed Op, because she was the "outsider" and he wouldn't blame someone from his family.

0:06: My guess was she was the one for the hair in the food because the boss was scared to blame the Indian women because of profiling. Nonetheless, she proved her point. 1:06: When you cheat on your mate, eventually it will come back to haunt you. Kudos to her for embarrassing him like that in front of his new girl. 2:18: MIL always feels the need to one-up her son's wife to make herself feel superior to her, when in reality, the opposite is true. And it's refreshing to see a son stand up to his mom. 3:57: Kudos to Sam for driving OP's ex away from her after he showed his true colors. It's great to have friends who have your back in tight situations. 6:37: A needed to be put in her place for once. And shame on her parents for enabling her behavior. Plus A having autism is no excuse; she seems to know exactly what she's doing.

About the last story, SOME kids with unnoticeable autism use the "I have autism" card to everyone to get away with things. Since she is in a normal school and stuff she is absolutely able to be treated like a normal human being without disabilities. She understands that her actions are not ok and she is a horrible human. I have friends in the spectrum who are nothing like this so when someone pulls the "I have autism" excuse, pisses me off. Everyone has issues ,either big or small, but we don't use that as an excuse. Period.
@valeriebrathwaite8541 Жыл бұрын
I have autism and can still control how I act. It's not an excuse. Only severely autistic don't understand how to act. This girl knows what she's doing, and uses her Autism as a way to get out of it.

The last story and how older sister never got reprimanded because of her autism, It is ridiculous what parents will tell themselves so they don't feel bad about punishing their children because they want to believe they are a good kid. I have autism, but, my parents have taught me to be responsible and take responsibility for my actions and take whatever punishment I deserved due to my unruly (Irresponsible) actions. Edit--- I reread this and I realized it sounded a little passive-aggressive\angry, I do not mean for it to sound that way! p.s. Have a great day ight wherever you are and whenever you read this!
@runway5338 Жыл бұрын
You don’t sound passive-aggressive/angry at all. You’re simply stating facts. Parents need to teach their child(ren) that there are consequences to their actions. Because the world is not going to coddle those kids when they’re older as much as the parents are.

what's sad is I can relate to the last story in a way. Have a sister and half brother who are both autistic yet it's the half brother my father only seems to care about. I'm kind of scared to say anything to my parents that I might have mental issues as well because I don't think they would want to think that I'm crazy. I know already that two of my siblings struggle with their autism and i don't think my parents could deal with finding out something is wrong with me as well so I've kept my mouth shut.
@namubub Жыл бұрын
They are your parents, it's kind of their job to deal with their children and all the issues that come with. If it's something that bothers you, you should speak about it to someome. If not your parents then some professionals? It's easier to tackle it early on than try to work on it later. You shouldn't push your own needs down just because your parents have their hands full with your siblings, you are their child too

Story 2: In HS, this happened to me. At a party, my ex & I hooked up. I didn’t realize that Friday, the weekend of the party, he asked another girl, a year younger than us, to be his girlfriend. She wasn’t allowed to go to the party. She was mad at me for the hookup. I had no idea about them dating. In fact, no one at the party except my ex knew, yet it was my fault. Her friends hated me for the next 2 years. She was dumb for dating him for the year she did. Honestly he cheated on you within 24 hours & was telling me that he was sorry things ended with me! He was constantly trying to tell me he was sorry for all the trouble he caused me & I was like, don’t tell me, tell your girlfriend. Just stop talking to me & go away. That went on for the whole year they were together. Either her friends or she would come up to me & tell me to leave him alone. I’d say watch closely. It’s always him walking up to me & me walking away. Then he cheated on her with someone else…who looked kind of like me. Creepy but still she blamed me. 🤷🏻♀️
