People who make last wishes come true - BBC News

A Dutch charity called the Stichting Ambulance Wens - Ambulance Wish Foundation - helps terminally ill patients fulfil one last wish. Kees Veldboer is the man behind the Dutch charity. His organisation is staffed by 100s of volunteers that have so far fulfilled more than 8,000 last wishes.

My late stepfather’s sister Anja, was helped out by the Stichting Ambulance Wens just before her death, 11 years ago. Her wish was to see her friends at the Pieterskerk, Leiden. When I watch the other videos of these beautiful people making final wishes come true, I get so emotional 🥹
