Күн бұрын

When I say "Long" I really mean "Fancy-ish, somewhat obscure word that considerably more people won't have heard of, than will have," but you can see how just saying "long" is a decent bit shorter.
And there's a slight contradiction of my logic intentionally left in the video, so for the self-righteous guy who's going to come to this video, spot it and try to sound like some Sherlock Holmes-esque smartarse by pointing it out and making a big deal out of it, try not to comment about it lol. It was left in for comedy's sake, please relax. Put down the knife and step away from the keyboard.

ALL HAIL BOB ROSS!
Twitch TV has been celebrating something (not sure what) and they've been airing Bob Ross' "The Joy Of Painting" episodes for the past 3 days or so.
To celebrate this myself, I will most probably be streaming soon after I upload the video to take requests on pictures to make, as a few people have asked me how I make my pictures.

This statement is incomprehensible as this is thought and known as the Earth. Why are people neglecting that the “spherical ball of rock and water” is called the Earth? The Earth is where our salvations and lives are on. It’s the precious planet, and the most simplistic examable planet ever to exist on the soil and ground. Plus is your questionable essay about the Earth and the context of spheres combining and merging into one enormous sphere? Hey, tell me if you read this awesomely readable reply.

What's even more frustrating is when the person refuses to explain their complicated word, and tells you to look it up. Ok, you used the word, the onus is on you to say what it means.

In fact it was the only word in the video that I had to look up to know what it means, which probably means it is the most obscure wanky word in the video. Which is why I chose it to make a joke with very low sounding, slang speech with a single big wank word in it ;D

Cyno [referring to dog I believe) followed by Phobia (Meaning to fear [phobos being fear]. However when people make up their own word at the beggining using a mash of latin, greek and other languages to make a word that would translate to something like (Long wide spacious lengthy fish) in a variety of languages, and then call it longfish seems a bit, well stupid to me. I believe if my sources are correct that is very similar to what has happened with the word you used.

honestly none of the words mentioned or examples were blatant abuses of vocabulary, the real problem is that too many people only know the basics of language and have not learned enough to actually understand the massive plethora (large amount) of words that are out there. English is a beautiful language we should bother to learn it, and honestly if future teachers could not understand that example of readings then they are not qualified to teach children; as you know they are educators! they should be, oh I don't know educated!

+TimrawGaming Not so sure about you logic there man, you just started this with profanity at my comment, which hey its the internet so it's expected, then I ask for you to clarify why, while poking some fun at your lack of use of language. Then with your follow up response more profanity, which was honestly disappointing I was giving you an open chance to challenge or even destroy my argument (if you did a great job at it). Then finally you seem to think your form of insults are even insults. For instance how is calling me a muppet an insult exactly? I find Kermit the Frog to be an awesome character, whom you could probably learn thing or two from. Now if you were using that as a metaphor for me being a puppet controlled by my the voice of anothers will, that would be a good counter but I doubt that considering the bad mom based insult. By the way you seem to have forgotten the unintelligible people part of the video, might want to keep that part in mind. In closing this has been a fun, though if you want to make your point stronger I would recommend you don't use the Appeal to Authority fallacy it weakens your point. By the way I enjoy debates and such so this has been rather entertaining on my end, so thanks for that :) Oh one last thing here is a better come back you can use in the future from Jimmy Carr: "If you want my cum back you will have scraped it off your mum's teeth"

I think there's a difference when it's a math/history/geo/ w/e teacher teaching you... AND AN ENGLISH TEACHER HELLO!? The english teacher uses big words to make the students use the dictionary. Its PART of the class and if you learn such words; to apply them in your next papers maybe. IT'S PART OF THE PROCESS OF TEACHING YOU VOCABULARY... GradeA is not referring to an English class where you LEARN ENGLISH!!!! What kind of english bogus class do you expect to be in? One where the teacher only talks in basic english and only demands you write a story using repeated words throughout your text. Wake up man. Maybe you are still in high school and don't understand the reason you even have english class. LOL fken kids and internet man.

appselon lmfao Not even going to waste my time reading all of that crap. I'm no where near an english major or in that department. I'm actually in a medical field. But like I said, the point of an English class is to enrich your writing skills. GOOD FOR FKEN YOU IF YOU DIDN'T FOLLOW THAT CAREER PATH. Neither have I! But am I going to spit on the class that taught me how to read, write and even added a few fancy words to my vocab???(BECAUSE HOLY FK THATS WHAT AN ENGLISH CLASS IS FOR). No. I won't do that. Also; Grade is bashing people who use fancy vocab in places where it's not necessary: work, a daily news vlog/paper. It's all about the audience. That's all he is bashing. He is not bashing people using high vocab. He's bashing those who can't choose their Audience properly. And an English teacher actually is using it with the correct audience... a class of students LEARNING ENGLISH FOR FUCK SAKES.

Here in the Netherlands we're pretty good at that as well, as a one-way road sign is "eenrichtingsverkeersbord"! I also like "arbeidsongeschiktheidsverzekeringsmaatschappij", which is an insurance company for incapacitated workers. Even though the word is really long, it's not hard to read, pronounce or understand for Dutch speakers, as, like in German, it consist of separate words glued together.

hahaha I totally understand you mate. especially the part of you reading academic articles on how to teach. I also took teacher's courses, to be a 2nd language English teacher for children. So everything I have read for those courses was completely in English littered with these nonsensical and unnecessary words and phrases. And it was hell for me to memorize it (or comprehend it) since English isn't my mother tongue.

Britain ceded the territory to the newly independent United States after Britain's defeat in the American Revolutionary War. The area was part of the larger Northwest Territory until 1800, when western Michigan became part of the Indiana Territory. I used to do this same thing in middle and high school and always thought I was sooo smart. Most the other students thought I was super smart too (although they still diddnt think I was cool). Now that I'm older I not only accept that I'm not that smart, but I openly tell people it. That way I dont have nothing to try to prove to them. The one time it really was useful for me was in the late 90s when they did that "You can't say 'hate.'" crap. OK then, how bout I *loathe* that kid. I *despise* them. I *abhor* them. I *detest* them. I'll get you to ban half the English language from this school.
