The Earth is where our salvations and lives are on. It’s the precious planet, and the most simplistic examable planet ever to exist on the soil and ground. Plus is your questionable essay about the Earth and the context of spheres combining and merging into one enormous sphere? Hey, tell me if you read this awesomely readable reply.

+Tucker Stackow I really despise that word, phobias are greek originated words which have the greek meaning of something to be scared of (E.g. Cyno [referring to dog I believe) followed by Phobia (Meaning to fear [phobos being fear]. However when people make up their own word at the beggining using a mash of latin, greek and other languages to make a word that would translate to something like (Long wide spacious lengthy fish) in a variety of languages, and then call it longfish seems a bit, well stupid to me. I believe if my sources are correct that is very similar to what has happened with the word you used.
@haydenk78399 жыл бұрын
honestly none of the words mentioned or examples were blatant abuses of vocabulary, the real problem is that too many people only know the basics of language and have not learned enough to actually understand the massive plethora (large amount) of words that are out there. English is a beautiful language we should bother to learn it, and honestly if future teachers could not understand that example of readings then they are not qualified to teach children; as you know they are educators! they should be, oh I don't know educated!

I used a word with more than five letters man.... what the heck? Take the vibrator away... and talk sense.
@haydenk78399 жыл бұрын
+TimrawGaming Not so sure about you logic there man, you just started this with profanity at my comment, which hey its the internet so it's expected, then I ask for you to clarify why, while poking some fun at your lack of use of language. Then with your follow up response more profanity, which was honestly disappointing I was giving you an open chance to challenge or even destroy my argument (if you did a great job at it). Then finally you seem to think your form of insults are even insults. For instance how is calling me a muppet an insult exactly? I find Kermit the Frog to be an awesome character, whom you could probably learn thing or two from. Now if you were using that as a metaphor for me being a puppet controlled by my the voice of anothers will, that would be a good counter but I doubt that considering the bad mom based insult. By the way you seem to have forgotten the unintelligible people part of the video, might want to keep that part in mind. In closing this has been a fun, though if you want to make your point stronger I would recommend you don't use the Appeal to Authority fallacy it weakens your point. By the way I enjoy debates and such so this has been rather entertaining on my end, so thanks for that :) Oh one last thing here is a better come back you can use in the future from Jimmy Carr: "If you want my cum back you will have scraped it off your mum's teeth"
@haydenk78399 жыл бұрын

I think there's a difference when it's a math/history/geo/ w/e teacher teaching you... AND AN ENGLISH TEACHER HELLO!? The english teacher uses big words to make the students use the dictionary. Its PART of the class and if you learn such words; to apply them in your next papers maybe. IT'S PART OF THE PROCESS OF TEACHING YOU VOCABULARY... GradeA is not referring to an English class where you LEARN ENGLISH!!!! What kind of english bogus class do you expect to be in? One where the teacher only talks in basic english and only demands you write a story using repeated words throughout your text. Wake up man. Maybe you are still in high school and don't understand the reason you even have english class. LOL fken kids and internet man.
@iTheStalker8 жыл бұрын
appselon lmfao Not even going to waste my time reading all of that crap. I'm no where near an english major or in that department. I'm actually in a medical field. But like I said, the point of an English class is to enrich your writing skills. GOOD FOR FKEN YOU IF YOU DIDN'T FOLLOW THAT CAREER PATH. Neither have I! But am I going to spit on the class that taught me how to read, write and even added a few fancy words to my vocab???(BECAUSE HOLY FK THATS WHAT AN ENGLISH CLASS IS FOR). No. I won't do that. Also; Grade is bashing people who use fancy vocab in places where it's not necessary: work, a daily news vlog/paper. It's all about the audience. That's all he is bashing. He is not bashing people using high vocab. He's bashing those who can't choose their Audience properly. And an English teacher actually is using it with the correct audience... a class of students LEARNING ENGLISH FOR FUCK SAKES.

@spawncampe9 ай бұрын
I only use it depending on the situation, but I never try to confuse the other person, I feel like some intellectuals purposely try to use hard language to sound profound b/c the average person can't understand them, while in reality you can have intellectual conversations while only using tough words that are relevant to the topic, and still have most ppl understand fine based off context clues

Here in the Netherlands we're pretty good at that as well, as a one-way road sign is "eenrichtingsverkeersbord"! I also like "arbeidsongeschiktheidsverzekeringsmaatschappij", which is an insurance company for incapacitated workers. Even though the word is really long, it's not hard to read, pronounce or understand for Dutch speakers, as, like in German, it consist of separate words glued together.

I'm _so_ glad I've been led to this video. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. It's one of the least effective ways of communication, as it prioritizes the speaker's own perceived intelligence over being sure that the message they're getting across is clear. It sabotages the conversation, because anyone who knows what those words mean likely won't take the speaker seriously, since they sound, frankly, like a complete tool, and anyone who doesn't know what they mean has no idea what the speaker is trying to say. On top of that, even though the speaker may be using synonyms for their original message, it still changes it ever so slightly, because different words can have different connotations! If something is described to you as "humongous", you'll likely imagine it to be much larger than if it had simply been described as "big". Plus you did a great job of making it an entertaining video to watch. If I had made a video on this topic, it would likely just be half an hour of me going on about how it sounds completely ridiculous when people talk like that. Nobody on Animal Jam knows that you mean your cat's ears when you say your cat "perked it's zeniths", and none of the official definitions for zenith that I've seen are even remotely related to cats so I don't even know how that became the popular phrasing of it. Just say ears, dude. It's not that hard. The worst part by far, though, is that, at least with the kind of person who does this for attention on online spaces, is that you can't even bring it up to them, because they'll just say "haha, you're just jealous because you don't know what this word means!!" That's not it at all. I'm fully aware of what you're _trying_ to say when you tell me you "pointed your ocular organs" at something. I just think you should say you fucking looked it at. Talk like a normal person, maybe, for once. It's not even the usage of big or complicated words, like you said! Sometimes a more obscure word might even be better, due to the subtle connotations of different words! But it's pretty easy to tell the difference between someone who just has a large vocabulary and thinks that a word like "reprehensible" fits better with their message and someone who thinks that referring to eyes as "orbs" makes them smarter.

+That Ugly Slug A pseudonym is a fake name, often used to hide identity. For example Dr. Seuss was a pseudonym for Theodore Gisele

@Jalan Marshall I know this is quite late but you deserve some credit for that actually coherent paragraph. Like the original I knew all the words and such, but my brain couldn't put them all together and comphrend it without taking a good minute to break down what I read. Good on you

It takes a smart person to understand and effectively explain a topic with large words, but it takes a damn near genius level of thinking to express it so that it doesn’t sound like some English governor writing a 50 page document

This hand-written digital response of yours, similarly known as a "comment", causes me, myself, and I to feel a mentally emotional state which I cannot quite explain, but it has been known as "relatable" as our fellow multicellular homo sapiens which have a body filled with systems that help with homeostasis. I highly suggest that anyone using their cerebrum, cerebellum, and more will be able to understand the feeling of typing "fr" with their cell,tissue, and skin on their hands. Thank you for taking the time to read this paragraph as it took me many of my nerve cells to send messages to my muscles, telling me to type this long space of digital messages. Edit: feel free to copy/paste this.
