I like Eric for her than Nick. Eric seems like he respects her for who she is even the silly jessica side which Nick finds it annoying. She pretends shes airhead but she isnt. I like Jess and Eric. Nick and Vanessa also deserves each other seems like they have much more in common and Nick wants an aggressive and very much in control woman (him being whipped) lol

I think Jessica and Nick had too many differences - age, life experiences, etc. His career was cooling down as hers was heating up. They couldn't even "break up" at the same time. They each seemed to have doubts, but at different times. One would be ready for therapy as the other was resisting, then things would flip. Still, there must have been other major issues, too. Rumors of infidelity (both of them) happened very early. Maybe the fairytale was just that.

Haggie Fatigue nick was so self absorbed. You can easily see why a marriage failed so miserably in such a short time when you watch the husband CONSTANTLY tell his wife and even her best friend to “shut their mouth”. What an absolute jerk nick was to.....even saying very insulting and demeaning things about her during interviews. Guess he felt he was the only one entitled to have an opinion or express himself while also telling her not to speak. She was so very wise to leave him. Still think it’s sad tony left her on her birthday. He thought she was still seeing John Mayer on the side but John, knowing she was in a relationship, kept contacting her anyway. Tony saw the emails and broke up with her on her birthday. I think Jessica really loved him very deeply. I think she’s happy now though. Probably ended up with someone she was much better suited to in Eric.

I mean I just been reading some of Jessica's book and I'm telling you your parents have a gut feeling and her dad obviously saw something going on in Nick or knew something about his personality that Jessica was blind to but hey I know what she went through because you know I went through that your first love you're blind to anything that anybody says to you negative about that person because you're so in love. It's not until you break up that you look back on the situation and you go wow that could never work out and would never work out I don't understand what I was trying to accomplish there I was young and stupid.

She reminded me a lot of me. There will never be anything like your first. I think she loved Nick more strongly and learned a lesson. He didn’t love her the way she loved him. Everyone deserves to be loved completely. Nick may have loved her, but not like she loved him. Second time around with her new husband, it seems equal, as it should be. People are hating on this woman for leaving Nick when they know nothing about what happened behind closed doors. I didn't even realise she was the one to break up with him- but there you go. Secondly, her dress is fantastic. It's simple yet elegant. If she is true to her beliefs still then wearing a white dress which actually represents virginity, wouldn't be appropriate as she isn't one. Women that have had sex and wear white dresses to weddings are technically the ones being inappropriate if you people want to look at detail like that while bashing her. And on top of that. Nick didn't seem like he was perfect at all. He always seemed like he was fed up with her like she just annoyed him constantly. I think they are both happier now.

julielaidlee Yeah it does suck that their marriage didn't last but I'm happy knowing both Nick and Jessica are happy even if it is with other people. I also remember hearing some where that when Nick and Jessica got married Nick was almost in his 30s and Jessica was just in her early 20s. So, that big difference in their ages should tell you why they didn't last. And that whole thing about being a virgin in order to wear a white wedding dress in my opinion following those kinds of rules seem so archaic. I doubt that modern brides today follow that rule themselves. Besides nowadays you have couples who ditch the traditional route and live together before marriage.
