I use Pep. The auto, hyper aggressive and reactive defensive AI is killing the creativity and flow of this game. Add the terrible passes where players refuse to play balls into open space, then you've got the worst version of efootball so far for me. It's even worse than 3.4 which is an impressive feat in itself. Just tone down the AI awareness and aggression, free the passing and remove the player's power bar from the opponent's screen and only PA3 and 4 for online play.

No to mention the death of the classic Pes fake shot! Where you could simply cut around aggressive players, now it’s the double touch spamming which looks terrible when over done, also, having my players run and hide behind the defenders, rather than find space, that’s just silly.

@@OnlyFullFights - the shot feint works much less, but it's still there under certain use cases., Can still be done with shot feint super cancel. Ludicrous they nerfed that. The attackers not looking to get into space is a real problem now, made even more painfully obvious by the over aware defensive AI.. trying to actually score from a cross is like trying to find a catch a unicorn and acrobatic shots can't activate It's the least fun I had with this game. My only positive is that it s made me a better dribbler.

Yes PA1/2 should not be allowed in online matches. Completely ruins the gameplay.

One big mistake that i see on people using possession is not having 2 offensive fullbacks, if you want to keep possession of the ball you need to play offensive and out number the oposite defensive line, pretty much the same as in real life.

Yes you need so many players up front in order to really keep possession and pass the ball around which means the downside is you can get countered easily if you lose possession

I use a prime Barcelona squad. With 103 Cruyff as CF, 106 Messi RW, 103 Neymar LW, Xavi 103 CM, Ronaldinho CM 102, Jordi Alba LB 99, Puyol LCB 103, Araujo RCB 101, Sergi Roberto 100 RB, Ter Stegen 99 GK. And I still dominate in possession

I’m enjoying Pep, it’s being able to switch up your play in game and working opponents out, I will use 1 bar defense to begin with to see what he does, and mix up the play from passing to dribbling, possession seems to reward dipping back dribbling and then going forward with your attacking players to make space like you said B

I absolutely can’t stand how simple and how little skill it takes to defend on this game. One button warriors just tape down that match up button and make yourself brew while your AI defenders do it all for you

I think managers, specifically ones like Pep are so valuable even though possession is useless rn. Eventually it will get buffed and it will be a lot more useable. When it does, it will be nice to have a non generic Pep Guardiola as a Barca fan. Similarly, a lot of people are passing on the Big Time Messi’s because he was nerfed recently before the box released, but he’s eventually going to get buffed again and you wanna have those kinds of cards and managers when that happens👍🏾

The only problem while playing possession is players making NO runs at all, even when there is an obvious oportunity to run in behind the defense, I used possession style until ETH pack was released, then I started using him, but I play LBC like possession, I never rush, I use LBC playstyle, but play it like possession and it works perfectly for me.

I feel when I was playing this game 1 year ago, 2 years ago, possession was so much easier to play. I didn’t even bother to learn other styles. Now it’s basically useless because you can easily achieve 60% possession with QC.

Been playing possession since forever. Its the most tedious and rewarding playstyle imo. But its also the most inefficient due to a number of gameplay variables. If the pass mechanics are a little off and your players are making unintended stupid passes not aligned with your intention your opponent will break and counter with simple manouevers that will disrupt you everytime. So you need to iron out each new updates pros and cons and just hammer it and make the best with the tools you get.

Go pass support 3, manual aiming, takes a little getting used to but once you hit it those unintended passes become far less frequent.

In sub tactics section, make whatever formations, play style you want. When you keep sub tactics on, then you have to hold d pad down/up for 2-3 seconds during gameplay. It will show defensive style as pop up which means you sub tactics is activated. When you again long press up/down d pad, it will show attacking as a pop up which means you original formation is restored. Attacking or defensive pop up is just a name, you can adjust any style of gameplay with sub tactics.

Dude, you can manually move deeper our higher your defensive line by holding left or right direction on your controller. NOT the joystick. I do this all the time even with quick counter. It can also be the manual offside trap.

Lol brother, I am aware of manual defense and controlling the lines/attack levels but that is not the point of this video. ❤ It's talking about Pep by default. ANY manager can be defensively deep with the right tactics or manual instructions or spacing. 🤙

It's absolutely not like that you play possession , You have to play with 1 CB only and 2 DMF anchor man , 1 LB , 1 RB who go up by themselves without instructions . RB CB. LB DMF. DMF AMF. AMF RWF ST. LWf RB and LB go up , DMF go down in possession Possession mean 10 guys stays high in the oppenement 50 - 40 meters , like man city . And it work

@@pesxbarca no , I use Carlos, And Arnold . They have to go up , for the formation take shape. if you want the formation strategy to take shape. Your 3 defenders in possession will be very high. Your 3 defenders will be the 2 DMF ( anchorman with defensive instruction) and your CB to cover counter attacks, The LB and RB must be offensive and become RM and LM so that you can turn the ball in the opponent's 40 meters from right to left like Man City

@@pesxbarca just try bro , play against AI and watch how your players gonna take their position on the field when you got the possesion in the 50 oppenement , you can just say defensive to only 1 if you want , but don't forget all the méta 🤡 want to score in 2 passes and never ever they try to play nice football , they play all day and score the same gol again and again all day 🙄. With that formation you can create nice things but you have to be patient. Even you can counter too sometimes if you want it's possible too with that formation ( sorry English is not my language hope you understand)

This game ironically is fantastic. With every update, it ruins everything and you have to learn everything again according to update. They kill the good things from the past game and useless mechanism in new update. Suddenly it becomes a different game. Just wait for 4.0 update, the game will be absolutely different, then learn new style/mechanism and unlearn the skills from past update. Hate to love this efootball😅😂😢😥👺😡👍👎
