gundogan 100%. He is calm, collected, doesn't let emotions spill over, has a great footballing brain/vision, is a leader and like pep said he is a true team player if there ever was one which naturally leads to thinking about all positions on the pitch while playing in midfield especially, like xavi for instance...Basically, what pep said. I feel he would be a great manager!!

Being a good player on the pitch doesn't necessarily translate to being a great coach sometimes, but I understand where you're coming from. However, The most likely position where majority of world-class coaches hail from is the midfield aka "The brain of the team" and that's why I think Fernandinho, Gundogan and Rodri got higher probability of success if they eventually become managers.

Pep really knows how to deal with haters ey, like he doesn't disagree with anything. "Why are you successful?" Pep be like "because of the money, my club has a lot of money to buy all the best players, this is why" lol he knows that's what haters say so he's just telling them what they want to hear, we all know that money is important but if it was the only reason then Man Utd would be winning title after title but they ain't won anything in 6 years! "How do you decide what to wear for games?" Pep like "my wife helps me, without her I'm a disaster, everything good in my life is because of other people" the guy absolutely refuses to take a compliment for anything!
@syedakhudsiyatarannum56952 жыл бұрын
Yeah for idiots who dont know if they still played with joe hart zabaleta kompany otamendi kolarov klichy toure etc etc etc they wouldnt be winning all these last 4 years. He came in saw that he needed a massive overhaul and got players who suited his style not random player filling like psg do. And its not guardiola who decides the price of players. Thats the job of the upper hierarchy. And lets be honest when you go into any market with a lot of money and everyone knows you have a lot of money then you automatically lose your bargaining power. Thats why city get to buy players paying slightly more than what other clubs would have gotten them for. For example take walker and stones. They were good players walker in fact was in conversation of being best righr back in epl at spurs and stones was regarded as the best english prospect at centre back. Had they gone to other clubs then they probably would have been sold for 30-35 million but city got them for around 50 million each. And coming back to pep guardiola he is a manager who is style oriented not freestyle like say zidane. So he needs to have players who suit his style. And honestly for all those who hate him just follow his teams for one season watching every game and focussinf on the tactics the way they play and there is no way you wont end up liking his managerial skills

The ending of this video perfectly sums up Mikel Artetas reign so far at Arsenal. He is doing non-negotiables and bringing Unity to the Club. By removing players like Ozil, Auba and Guendouzi who didn't follow the rules, Arteta has learnt from the Master Pep :)
@lewis8812 жыл бұрын
Guendozi did nothing wrong, he was protecting Leno. By your logic, we should sell Ramsdale, Tierney and White as they are battlers on the pitch like Guendozi. No wonder Guendozi is balling it out in France and playing for France as he’s playing under a better manager that isn’t controlling
@sulir092 жыл бұрын
@@lewis881 Errrrm, was Guendouzi a toxic player in the dressing room? Yes he was. He had a heated confrontation with another player (Sokratis), in Dubai he got told off by Edu because he was being very immature and also, the reality is, he wasnt good enough for Arsenal and the EPL. He flopped in the Bundesliga, now hes doing a bit alright in the 5th best league in the World (France). Just know your facts before you message 👍
@lewis8812 жыл бұрын
@@sulir09 Never seen a more deluded message 😂😂. So Guendozi is “toxic” as he has passion, do you think the same about Ramsdale? Guendozi is currently better than all our CM on form. He’s thriving away from Arteta. Arteta has no man management skills that’s why he got thrown out
@sulir092 жыл бұрын
@@lewis881 You said Guendouzi is "better than all our CM ON FORM", firstly he is the 5th best league in the world (Ligue 1), even Jeff Raine Adelade was killing it in Ligue 1. Lets see what Guendouzi does in the prem. He had a total of like 85 Appearances, 1 goal and about 3 assists at Arsenal. Thats shocking. About Ramsdale, he is not toxic in the dressing room. Everyone loves him including Tiereny and Ben white. They put the team first, Guendouzi didnt. Who cares if he was protecting Leno, in the end, Guendouzi looked like a mug and embarrased Arsenal so Arteta wanted him out. Same with Auba when he arrived late to trainings and behaved poorly to the coaching staff. Know these facts before talking. Those who think he is passive aggressive might have a point. Both while in Britain and Spain, he has been attacked by media. In Spain mainstream media is controlled by Real Madrid's Perez, even Catalan media which is owned by pro Spain and anti Catalunya's independence groups (Guardiola is pro independence), they were all against him due to politics. The same catalan press who favored and covered up the board that forced him to leave Barça, which come from the same line of thought than the board that destroyed Barça for the last 6 years. People don't know much about the politics around Barça, it really is hard to be a Barça fan here in Spain due to the identity of the club with an independent Catalunya (Laporta the current board president embodies that identity, and in his previous tenure 2003-10 he managed to get Barça achieve its greatesr heights against pressure from both inside and outside forces). After Laporta came an era of anti-Cruyff playing philosophy and anti catalan independence boards up until Laporta came back last year. So both Laporta and Guardiola share the same pro independence views and both are defenders of Cruyff's playing philosophy (under Cruyff as a coach Barça won its first European Cup in 1992) his football ideas were taught from then on at La Masia which is our academy, from which Guardiola, Piqué, Puyol, Busquets, Fabregas, Xavi, Iniesta and Messi among many others got their football education,. Guardiola developed this sort of non confrontational but defensive approach, irony, sarcasm, dry humour or passive aggressiveness from that era under Laporta first, and his succesor the traitor Rosell who forced him out. Then came his henchman Bartomeu who left the club in a total mess on purpose, he is currently being investigated. Luckily Laporta is back and you can really tell things are changing already. Hope it makes sense and it's written well enough and not TLDR, English is not my first language either.

Man City over the past decade, have had a LOWER net spend, won MORE trophies, MORE Premier leagues, have finished HIGHER, in the table, are a BETTER run club, have a BETTER squad and play BETTER football than Man United. After Pep's arrival, they have gone into overdrive on all these metrics and much more. In spite of not winning the CL, their performances have been BETTER than Man United during that period, who have been in and out of the competition. The state of their training ground is BETTER than Man United currently. Ten Haag's style of play would be BETTER suited to their squad than Man United's. In Phil Foden, they have not only Manchester's and England's but also Britain's BEST young player currently. There are 10 and 12 year olds now, all across the world, in whose memory City and not Man United, are the top team in Manchester. Although Trevor Sinclair is the first, there will be many pundits in the near future who would be former Man City players on the panel of talkshows. The Bluemoon is not rising anymore, it has well and truly risen on the shores of Manchester.
