Same with Player of the Season Foden. He always ghosts against big 6 (has fewer goal involvements this season than Saka, Palmer, and Gordon) and is almost always missing in big games.

Kane doesn't really ghost in games though, he may not do his main job by scoring goals but if he's not doing that he's usually dropping back to help play. Haaland literally just walks around the opposition back line like a lazy cretin.

Pep wasn’t able to counter the organisation, United totally allowed city to play the way they wanted in terms of possession but prevented them doing anything with it, it just shows having more of the ball doesn’t automatically mean you win - United didn’t slip in concentration and you could see it was becoming tedious and frustrating for city to not be able to do anything - Doku made the difference but by then it was too late. Rodri/De Bruyne were proven useless when not given the space.
