Horrible shifted load rollover at the port

This was easily one of the worst shifted load rollovers I've done recently. The driver states he blew a tire, causing the container to roll and his load of aluminum/radiators to shift. As always, we smoothly and meticulously upright both tractor and container, but have no choice but to remove the container and set it on the Landoll.
I loosely attempted to counter lean the load first to see if some of the top row would fall down, but it was no use. If I attempted to push it any further, I risk the entire load just shifting to the other side and I'm in the same boat.
Once the Landoll arrived, both rotators lifted the container off the chassis and set the container incredibly offset. This allowed the Landoll to have almost all the weight in the center of the bed, despite the huge overhang. From here we took it to offload, then I used Hulk to place the container onto a new chassis.

Hey Pepe's towing service! Freaking nice job! Moving the container with that much offset on the landall would be tricky for sure! Glad Joe went slow so the load didn't shift to the side that was hanging off the landall! Here in British Columbia Canada we have cops that specialize in trucks doing spot roadside safety inspections! Does that ever happen in California? Stay hydrated and stay freaking safe! Hi I am in the UK & watch lots of your videos of you doing heavy recovery job's & I must admit it is nice to see recovery men as yourself with lots of all the right very nice equipment to do a really nice professional job done by a man that knows what he is doing & also has lot's of the right equipment & good knowledge of what he is doing. I have been doing heavy recovery work all my life but unfortunately we never had really good equipment like is available these day's . It was a lot harder years ago in my day & I would love to be able to have the sort of equipment you have to do these sometimes difficult job's & I agree with what you said in the beginning of this video that it is always better to take several recovery vehicles because with the best will in the world, information given to you by the companies or driver's or even the police. They are not heavy recovery people but you like me are & we have the knowledge of the equipment & it's capability & what is needed to do these job's safely. All the best & I will be watching lot's more of your job's with pleasure.

As I understand it, those sea-land containers tend to have gapping at the doors that's just covered by the weather seals. You might consider getting a simple probe camera that you could push around the door seals to get a look inside before you have to resort to popping the load seal. At the very least it would give you an idea if something was possibly prone to dumping out on you when you pop the door. Just a thought.

Had a large export cartage contract with a large recycling company in Burnaby BC. One of newbie loaders loaded all the bails down one side and of course as soon as my driver pulled out of the dock she went over. Long story short got it picked and hooked on to a yard goat to go back in the door and over it went again. Not a good day or ride especially for the two drivers. Happy ending container got uprighted and reloaded and eventually made it to the ship.

the people who loaded this container should face criminal charges. They knew this was unsafe and prone to shifting. This trailer could have rolled over and crushed another vehicle full of passengers or landed on a sidewalk with people. I hope the company that sent this container on its way will not get away with this.
