Kirk Morris once said that he and the actor playing Samson used to wrestle in the gym during filming. Very even matches apparently except "when he got you in a bear hug it was over. That guy was powerful." Now I'd love to see that!!!!

Great scene. Both Mr. Bellini and Mr. Khoshabe are good actors with great bodies. Ms. Orfei is a real trouper, getting dragged along by a horse on a rope! But her makeup and hair are perfect LOL. Love the cheesy styrofoam rocks and columns.

I have this movie, used to watch all kinds of these Peplum aka Sword and Sandals films at the local theater and on TV back in the mid-1960s. Now, I own many of them, a 50 pack, a couple 18 packs, some doubles, several individual films. Special effects were sometimes cheesy and plots were sometimes the same but that never mattered. Didn't hurt that Thor and Hercules were in M comics too. Still like stuff like this, buy Sinbad films, Ferrigno, Sorbo Hercules, Xena, Rock Hercules and various other versions. Even created a 'Daughter of Apollo' (my third favorite god after Thor and Hercules), who wants to help humanity, but that idea never went anywhere beyond fanfiction.

This is easily one of the finest sword and sandal entries. A taught script, lots of action, and sumptious production design combine for an enjoyable peplum adventure. The merging of the three legendary heroes may not agree chronologically, but it works, thanks to some clever, sleight of hand storytelling.

This movie was playing at the old Biltmore Theatre in my hometown. I wanted to see it real bad but my parents insisted we go see Elvis in "Kissin' Cousins". I was not at all happy and wanted to see the next weekend. But the Biltmore was closed and torn down a few weeks later. The movie title was burned in my brain and for 45 years, I wondered what I had missed. And now I feel vindicated. They are as tanned and sweaty as I had hoped

According to my own historical research, Samson and Hercules fought for 10 years. The buildings and the city were in perfect shape.
