The Almighty God is the God of seven Spirits! Of seven eyes and seven stars are also; He opens the seven seals, and the Scriptures He opened all! The Church has done Him completely, He established His church messenger and all the churches were within His financing.) The Almighty God said The ALMIGHTY GOD is Almighty, fulfilled-the-All and FULLY TRUE GOD! Not only did He carry the seven stars, possesses the seven spirits, there are seven eyes, OPENING the SEVEN SEALS and OPENING the SCRIPTURES, but MORE THAN that He GOVERNS the SEVEN PLAGUES and the SEVEN BOWLS and OPENING the SEVEN THUNDERS, long ago driven He has the SEVEN TRUMPETS! This scene is not accurate according to the bible. Goliath was led down a hill with his hand on the shoulder of a soldier because he was near sighted due to his acromegally condition. He was taken down with a sling from a distance that made Goliath helpless . He brought a sword to a gun fight.

My favorite part of this story is that David actually begins to run at Goliath in the verse before he releases the stone. David knew that God was protecting him and would deliver him to victory. David did not just wait to see if the stone would fell the giant either, he closed the gap, brought the giant to the ground, relinquished the massive sword from Goliath, and took the giant's head. Confidence in God's plan allows us to run at our troubles like David did.

I remember reading that s story for the first time in the Old Testament. They always seem to get the sling wrong. What filmmakers don't know is that if a sling hit you like that the stone would crack your skull wide open. David was a shepard. He used his sling mostly to kill wolves that went after his flock. He was a damn good shot too. Hitting Goliath from that range would have been an easy thing for someone of his skills. Which is probably the best part of the story, in my opinion.

@@shadow_ax Well, there are three possibilities: 1 - The helmet did not cover the entirety of his face and the rock then managed to hit in a very tight space, unprotected and vulnerable enough to knock Goliath down. 2 - There was divine intervention, increasing the amount of force done by the rock, to the point it would pass right through a brass (or iron) helmet. Maybe by God himself or even a Principality, said to have helped him, but I can't offer any sources in this part; it's speculation, thus far. 3 - Mistake on the account of the writter, but since he would have been inspired by the Holy Spirit, I find it very unlikely if it's a detail that might be important, in the bigger scheme of things. I believe that the Bible is very precise and offer very detailed accounts over certain subjects, whenever necessary. At the same time, some details are skipped over intentionally, to allow our imaginary or rational to act, according to the subject in hand, so we can relate it to God's principles and in the context of how He was shown to act.

In reality this could easily be done from someone with lot's of skills and practice with a sling. David practiced a lot and so he had the skills to sling that stone precisely. The stone was a projectile with a lot of speed, could easily sink into a skull enough to kill or knock a man out. What Goliath's mistake was he took off his helmet, he didn't have a clue of David's skill. Also the original story was David cut off Goliath's head once he hit the ground, there was always that chance Goliath came too and David knew that from his experience with the sling on other animals while he was a shepard.

Sometimes that involves trials and battles, but these are ultimately for our good and His glory. James tells us to consider it pure joy when we encounter trials because they test our faith and develop patience and perseverance (James 1:2-4). Your question is like asking “how do you know that Iron Man snapped Thanos out of existence, did you watch Avengers: Endgame?” or “how do you know George Washington lead what became the US as a general in the Revolutionary War, did you read it in your high school history text book?” It’s the fact that this production was based on some source material, and they deviated from that source material for the sake of theatrics. The movie version of Ready Player One was disappointing for allot of people that read the book because of how much it deviated from the original story, I think it’s likewise understandable how a Christian could be upset over the discrepancies between this production and the Bible since the purpose of this production was to accurately portray the events of the Bible. As for whether or not any of this happened, there is actually quite a significant amount of evidence that the Israelites and Philistines waged war and at some point their hero Goliath was slain by David who became Israel’s king and began a dynasty. Doesn’t matter if you’re atheist or Christian, it’s clear King David existed and he very likely killed Goliath, and cutting off an opponent’s head to ensure a kill would make sense for that time period’s methods of war and combat.

Hard to film perhaps? If it was animated it might be easier to portray, but this movie was not animated and blood would be needed as well to more accurately portray the movie. Did Goliath fight without his helmet on? The Bible does not say, but it was proven that David killed Goliath by hitting his head either way. I also do not know why Goliath would be foolish enough to fight without his helmet on, but perhaps it was because he had underestimated the boy as well.
