The one time we were there someone was setting stuff one fire, and another time we were there people were shooting the back wall for target practice.

Do you think the students were mistreated or bad?

They were bad. Trust me, I was a part of the last graduated class. Students were rebellious, crazy, and bullying were at an all-time high here. We're talking about some people who were so isolated by their peers that it fuel low self esteem and made you a laughing stock. I don't have the fondest memories of this place. However, seeing it in its current abandoned state is interesting. I feel like it was the begining of a period of sadness, loneliness, and doubt in having good people by my side l. However, many years passed and I found good friends and even a beautiful woman who's my girlfriend now after bonding with her for several years. Now, I look at these videos with calmness and intrigue instead of hate.

That's Philly for ya. Especially with how exploring is these days, everyone live streams everything with the exact address and how to get in, things don't last very long. There's places that end up like this in just a few months now.

Hurricane Floyd 1999 brought 6 feet of water in the ground floor there was a water mark in the custodial area

Yeah, you are correct. I'm going to fix that, the admin that wrote the history for me on it mixed it up with the school next to it that was built much earlier. Thanks for pointing that out!

@abandonedNJ I went to the school next to Pepper, it was Communications Technology High School; graduated in 2010. My grandfather also went there back when it was an elementary/middle school. He went there around 1940 when he moved to Philly from NYC. The city closed both schools at the same time about 5-6 years ago and seeing what Pepper looks like, I shudder to think what the inside of Comm Tech looks like. Nice video.
